they ever say why st. joe's was being stupid about this? i mean, there has to be a good reason, right?

Even though it wasn't intended to be Eamonn Breenan's story was a really good counterpoint to Doyel's column.  It's St. Joes fault they are taking heat, if they aren't at fault they should say something.  The Cam Newton analogy was really flawed.  Florida had no reason to disclose information about Newton's grades and attendance, it was 100% petty jealously and cant be spun another way.  There's no privacy issue for St. Joes.  O'Brien wrote a guest column for Sports Illustrated which states that he won't be released and he doesn't know why.  O'Brien has no expectation of privacy and St. Joes knows that.
