so I broke my old laptop.  new laptop and michael beasley ipod currently hooked together with the cord.  how do I get the music from my ipod touch to my new laptop?  please use only n00b verbage when describing in detail how to do this.  tia.

yeah, it cleared it out.

senuti (itunes backwards) will transfer all your songs from you ipod back to your computer.  you have to pay, but it's totally worth it.  i've crashed two hard drives, and recovering all my music has taken a combined 45 mins.

You should be able to just redownload anything you purchased from iTunes by logging into iTunes. Everything else is gone forever, unless you can salvage the hard drive from your old laptop.

Is there anyway to backup your itunes so that you won't lose your Organized library if your Hard Drive crashes?? Besides paying 25 bucks for the iMatch or w/e.

yeah, that one but with a better video card and screen.  built it on their site.  had a code for $500 off so got it for $899.  like it a lot so far.
