who the eff takes a 3 month old to a midnight showing of Batman?

what should they have done? left the 3 month old at home? it's three months old dude. it was probably just going to sleep through the whole thing in a car seat. who cares.

Had some self control and not gone to the movie? Waited until later this weekend when a babysitter could be arranged? Realized that if you want to keep going out on Thursdays at midnight you should refrain from reproducing?

i still can't figure out what the issue is. is it that they took the three month old to a movie or that they took it to a midnight movie, because from your response i can't tell. lol if it's the second.

Both. Taking a baby to a movie is white trash behavior that even the biggest WVU fan would have to think twice about.

wow, that is the dumbest thing you've said of all the dumb things you've said in this thread.

it sounds like if you have kids that they will be raised by a babysitter.  yikes.  t&p's, abefroman jr.

Yeah getting a babysitter for 2-3 hours once a week at most = a whole life of babysitting

Holy crap, you are Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

what about a restaurant? what about church? what about a grocery store?

None of those places require the same level of attentiveness and lack of distractions as you do when you're trying to watch a movie. Not relevant.

Was really sad to hear about this.

Was more sad to hear that an awesome red head with big tits was one of the victims: https://twitter.com/JessicaRedfield

But now it appears that Karl may have banged Ken's wife.

Creepiness of your post aside, how strange is it that this lady survived a shooting at a mall in Toronto only to end up killed in a shooting during a midnight screening of the Dark Knight Rises? I mean, what are the odds of one person being at the scene of 2 different terrorist attacks?

3 month olds don't really keep time very well.  midnight is about the same as any time.  I just don't see taking them to a movie under any circumstances.

Thats just me.  I am a pretty superior parent.

well i'm probably the best parent i know and i took a one week old to probably the loudest bball game that i've ever been to in bramlage. guess what happened? he slept through the whole thing.

This all reminds me of why I haven't been to the movie theater in years and built my own.

If shooting an assault rifle into a crowded theater isn't an act of terrorism, then I guess I just don't know what is.

Fake Sugar Dick doesn't like when I quote the dictionary, but eff him.  Terrorism: the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes.

Until evidence of a terrorist motive is uncovered, this seems to be simply mass murder a la the VT shooter guy.  Killing a bunch of folks simply for the sake of killing.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

In less than two months.  Unreal.  Like winning PowerBall twice unreal.

And her tweet from the scene in Toronto really freaks me out:  https://twitter.com/JessicaRedfield/status/209062847559376900

This girl was at both Columbine and Virginia Tech.  Not sure if she was near the shootings at VT, but she said she was in the cafeteria of Columbine when the shooters came in.

man, you totally shouldn't have.

1) it was funny
2) it took me like five minutes to even try to figure out how to respond to it
3) i had already read it, so i mean we're pretty much face punch fighting the next time we see each other regardless. erasing it isn't changing that.

yes, we need to keep looking. 3 guns, bulletbroof vest, riot helmet, smoke bombs. Not intimidating enough!!

I thought at the time it was a pretty decent PI'ing attempt, but when you didn't respond right away I started feeling weird about it.  Moral of the story, I suck at PI'ing people, especially when they live a few houses away

Just saw this movie.  Pretty good.

Also, if you take your six year old to this movie, you should go to prison, IMO.

I'm not sure if this is still the mass shooting thread or not at this point, but here's what I've gathered so far.

1. Been planning this for about 6 months judging by when he bought the guns.
2. Wired up his whole apartment so anybody that goes in will set it off.
3. Set his stereo to start blasting music right at midnight.  Police were called immediately
4. His attack started at about ~12:40 or so I'm pretty sure his plan was to have police bust down his door around 12:20, blow up, and have all of the first responders busy dealing with that initial explosion.
5. Pretend to receive a phone call during the movie and walk out the emergency exit of the movie theater, prop it open, and come back in fully geared up.
6. Shoot people
7. ????
8. Profit
