Dark Knight was fantastic and by far the best Batman movie made.  Joker was increds.

Worried that the Rises will be a let down after the last one.

Have not watched the trailer.

Last one was possibly the most overrated movie in the history of earth.

Coming from the guy who doesn't like Breaking Bad.  :jerk:

If you replace Heath Ledger's performance with an average performance, that movie becomes just another superhero movie.  His Joker character absolutely put that movie on it's back and carried it. If Rises doesn't luck out and get another Oscar worthy performance out of a main character it's going to be a HUGE letdown.

Agree that ledger made the movie fantastic but the first one was pretty darn good without a single stellar role

What a rough ridin' revelation this post is.    That's like saying the heat would be a worse team without Lebron.

Well if Lebron died during the finals, and people expected the heat to live up to this season's success, that would be a pretty decent revelation, wouldn't it, Kim Carnes?

I have a feeling that JGL becomes Robin, and since Christian Bale said he'd never do a Batman movie with Robin, they kill him off and start a separate movie series with JGL being the star.

JGL is Nolan's guy and Nolan is done with comic book movies after this one.

I am going to go see this rough ridin' thing in the IMAX tomorrow, not because I want to, but because I feel like I have to.  I really don't like batman that much.  I've seen all the movies, and they are all just meh.  What is so cool about batman.  He's like a really boring Tony Stark/Ironman.

Even if Heath Ledger was still alive, this trilogy still has the best villains of all time.
