What's his name?

https://rivals.yahoo.com/kansasstate/basketball/recruiting/player-Jahshire-Hardnett-164175

BTW, he not committing to us. We got Stokes instead.

LeGerald Vick is the guy everyone needs to keep an eye out on. He is either visiting K-State, KU or Kentucky this weekend.

Most people think Kobe Eubanks is visiting KU this weekend and he plays the same position as Vick, so I don't think they are double dipping. So I think it is down to us or Kentucky that hasn't officially offered him yet. It also appears we have started the procedures for hosting him. But you know Kentucky is strong.

The way you worded that is exactly the reason we have a chance. He would be able to play immediately at K-State, not sure about the other two.

End of the day he might not have an actionable offer from KU or UK.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but if he believes...and we're RIGHTLY telling him...that he can be the star day one, then maybe...mayyyyybe there's a shot.

Or he doesn't want to get buried on UK roster. <---- Something more recruits need to consider when joining programs. But that isn't how any of this tends to work.

Vicks lead recruiter at SMU where he committed as a 2016 kids was Ulric Maligi (who is currently unemployed and was the fall guy for their scandal). I believe Ulric is the godfather for Alvin's son. They are very close and run in the same circles. It is a relationship game.

Stokes interview.  I guess it was between us, Ole Miss, Colorado, and another school that I couldn't quite make out.

Houston?

Guys, I hate to say this but why would we want a guy who doesn't want to compete and take the job rather than be handed a star role?  Didn't this type of entitled-I-deserve-to-be-a-star attitude just ruin last season?

No thanks he's a better fit at KU or Kentucky where he can play for the NBA scouts rather than the name on the FRONT of the jersey.

Vick seems to light in weight to be a star right away, but he could be a good compliment player next year. If we let the spoiled star arguement sway us, we may never get quality players.  I would like to think the coaches will ride rough shod over the team.

Pretty jazzed for Vick to pick the Cats over Kansas and Kentucky.

And let me be the first to say, "Welcome back, oscar".

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Nope, just reading the proverbial "tea leaves".  oscar + recruiting + high impact studs = formula for success.

Operation Reshaped Roster in full effect.

It's easy to land Top 10 kids.  oscar has a Top 75 kid in the bag.  I mean, it's like stealing candy from a baby.
