Checked some of Ervin's stats.  He had two triple-double's this year with a handful that were close.  He had 11 double-doubles, and those were a mix of points and rebounds and points and assists.

He scored in double digits In 28/32 games.

He was Region 2 POY.  Some of his playoff games are archived on NJCAA TV.
Kid can definitely play. Saw his highlights and was very impressed with him. VERY tough defender too.

Good to know.

It would be SOOOO oscar to pick up a couple Big XII HM type players off the spring JUCO waiver wire and get to the tourney next year.

Me too, it'd definitely be frustrating in a sense, but another season like the last one may kill me.

That Edwards kid blew up. He's received like 8 offers in the last week or so, and they're solid offers, too.

So, oscar has gotta be promising starting positions and pt at this point, right?

Yes and no, still a spring recruit. Just less supply, so the demand looks greater. If Nigel is gone,  oscar is trying to build a roster inside wet paper bag. The bottom is going to fall out.

Yeah. He's trying to get kids that can play the right way after striking out on recruiting kids that play the right way after learning that he couldn't win when he was forced to recruit kids that didn't play the right way. :sigh:

I was just guessing. I mean, it makes more sense that he could come now.

i thought the reason he probably wasn't going to come was because of eligibility issues, not because he didn't want to come, or kstate didn't want him to come.

I don't think that is case. A lot of it has to do with recruiting misses, not landing your first, second or third option. I don't know what you chalk Foster up to. I really don't, it is just a mumped situation. But he is where I think we stand.

SR 2
Hurt
Edwards

JR 4
Westicles
DJamer or Bolden (I think only one is going to make it)
Corlbe Ervin (He is such a stop gap type of recruit, 50% chance worth a crap)
JUCO PF (Hopefully Ray Kasongo, 50% chance worth a crap)

So 1
Malek

Fr
Wade
Brown
Williams
Stokes
HS PF (Cobb, Edwards or some dork)

+ Transfer

You are looking at 3 poor senior class in a row. That is going to lead to less wins and more transfers. Also looking at a 8 man class and oscar sucks at getting kids to play year one.

Man, our post positions suck (excluding Claws)

Bolden would not get any PT on any other big 12 roster :Yuck:
Hurt likes to launch bombs
DJamer may or may not return....but was only averaging a whopping like 4 points/game before his injury :dunno:
Another Center frosh that weighs like 160 lbs or something, and might be a project :sdeek:
Cobb, who may or may not be coming, and don't know if any other schools even offered him a scholly :buh-bye:

Now, with the rumors Nigel might be leaving.......man this roster is full of  :bs:
Awaiting the inevitable KITN

The composition of the roster is going to be worse than individual talent. I think it is reasonable for Hurt to improve is body and be a + role player. Malek should fine himself and be an ok role player. I think all the freshmen can do nice things, they shoot the ball really well sans Dante. If Edwards wants to be he can be a good player he finished off the season well. His motor has issues. Westicles needs to fine some scoring in the halfcourt. The issues in two years that you are going to be counting on a lot of sophomores again with less help from upperclass men.

The roster is bottom heavy, I don't think oscar can get around that.

Unless he pulls in transfers, but with the roster turnover he needs guys that can play right away. With the new transfer rules, that's not going to happen.

Go get'em, oscar!

http://virginiatech.sportswar.com/free-content/2015/03/26/adam-smith-to-transfer-from-virginia-tech/

it's weird how in that press release they don't talk about what a disappointing fuckup smith has been.  i guess we'll have to check their rivals guy to see if everyone in the program hated him.

Players don't leave mid career unless they are huge drug addicts that are super lazy and locker room cancers.  Fact.  I mean, I guess there could be a writer out there that just Cntl+V's that crap every time a transfer happens, or we can just all know it for what it is.  Lil Kietz knows all about this.

If he comes to KState he better fix that or he is going to get debruced.

Well, that's not encouraging. Do The Flush and Claws transfer after next year if they're surrounded by a bunch of terrible basketball players?

What makes you think they won't also be terrible players?
