Best case scenario is we West Virginia this team. Bobby lost masses of ppl last year, but was able to replace them. Not gonna happen tho.

He kept his best player, who happened to be their point guard, who also happened to be a senior. Blowing up the team would be a disaster for oscar.

I wouldn't be surprised to see two guards leave.  We need another post in the worst way, especially if DJamer isn't coming back.

If all the current commits arrive and DJamer "retires" for medical reasons, we'd still need one more 'ship.

If they free up 2 more scholarships in addition to DJamer for Stokes + Kasongo/other, we've got an incoming class of 6.

Fire up the "We're too young / inexperienced" brucexcuses

If DJamer "retires" because of injuries it wouldn't shock me at all if oscar honors his scholarship for a 4th year so that he can graduate. That may piss some people off, but it's the right thing to do.

It won't piss anyone off because it doesn't happen.  He would qualify for a medical exemption.  He gets his schooling paid for and oscar gets the scholarship back.  I suppose if you're a dumbass who doesn't know basic things about college athletics then this would fit your narrative.

Thanks for clearing that up, bread. Also, t's & p's about that ass kicking from Bama last night. I'd lash out at people if my team lost by 21 to an SEC school not named Kentucky too.

I don't watch the NIT.  I am aware they lost, but it is as meaningful to me as if they had won.  It's a pointless exhibition.  Like how  you guys view bowl games.

oscar ran off that kid with the bad heart when he first got to go purple cats U and didn't even tell him to his face.  So setting aside unfamiliarity with medical exemptions, it was still too much.

Getting killed by bread is one of the purest joys this board has to offer, I'm not sure why it's not embraced like it should be.

Kasongo is a butt stomping beast.  He has more testosterone than a 3 nutted bull.  We haven't had a shot blocker since JO.

Because the talking points and anecdotes are so dumb that I want to blow my brains out. Nothing can be extrapolated from oscar or Frank landing a player that the other had offered. So, why would there be any reaction whatsoever? Like, oscar has landed players that much better coaches have offered, same thing with Frank. It literally means nothing. It was a stupid rough ridin' question that added nothing to the discussion, which is pretty typical for a Yard Dog post.

You know it will come up even if it does mean nothing for either side depending on who lands the recruit. IMO people who hate oscar will likely point at Frank winning that recruit as a sign that we made a bad coaching switch. Same for people who are pro oscar. If we land that recruit they will use that argument to prove we made a good coaching switch. As is often the case in arguments the point sounds like a good one even if in reality it is proof of nothing. It will be a talking point whether you like it or not.

I don't think people would have made that point on either side. If they did, then they're terribly short-sighted idiots that would be more at home with the logic employed on GPC or scout.
