Officially announcing Wednesday.  No in-homes leading up to it apparently.  Itk nuggetry: he's committing to play for whoever okie lite hires after they fire T. Ford.  Self maybe?

Well we won't get either, but we do have one spot left and we'd take both and oscar a not good player to the curb in the blink of an eye.  One blink. 

Thomas is going to OSU with Evans and Gilder and Bragg is going to an adidias (sp?) team.  Illinois isn't either one of those things.

Just spoke with 2015 F Elijah Thomas. He tells me that at this point, Illinois is still the leader in his recruitment.8:16 PM - 7 Oct 2014

That adidias thing doesn't count for Kentucky obviously.  They get whoever they want.  Bragg isn't really a top priority at the moment.  Regardless, Illinois is at best sucking UCLA and KU butt in this one.

Its is funny how people think AAU teams can't change affiliation. Or how adidas and nike care more about professional contacts than college affiliation. One and done recruits play by different rules.

Why is the Adidas/Nike thing a big deal for recruits? What happens if/when their game doesn't mesh with the coaches style of play or they aren't as good as they've been hyped as and spend three or four years at the school.
