He would be a good pick up, But he isn't going to fix our problems. The majority of recruiting class would have to pan for us to have a chance.

I like the guys in the class, but what they are adding to is the problem.

I like Barry a lot. I just hope oscar doesn't run him off after one or two incredible seasons.

Barry, if you're reading this, be a great player, just not too great to where you know you're great and then instantly become uncoachable.

Barry has to be #151 on Rivals, right? Everything I read/watch about him leads me to believe he will be a very good player for us.

A lot of scouts have players ranked 120-250 rate very closely. Barry's ranking is low because the rate him as a PG, because he is 6'3. Should grade out higher has a SG.

I watched a good deal of Minlend video last night.  He's really not that bad.  I'm probably not a good person to judge these sorts of subjective things, but while looking relatively athletic with a nice wingspan and a decent shot, he seemed like he was a tad slow when making a move towards the basket.  Like a lot of the driving he did on the videos can work at the prep level, but in the Big 12, he's going to need some work.

Like I think The Flush can penetrate at the Big 12 level next year with relative ease.  Minlend's only chance is probably as a wing.

Minlead has some craftiness to his game, I wish I could find his shooting percentages.

Strengths:
Currie is an evolving scoring guard who is gifted as a scorer and facilitator. He has a solid frame with a nice combination of strength and length. His ball handling skills are phenomenal. He has a slick crossover, a hesitation dribble, stop-and-go, etc. He gets separation utilizing is quickness, burst, and skill. His pivot work while penetrating and looking for ways to score is flawless. If he doesn't get a good look at the basket, he will find an open teammate.
Weaknesses:
Currie has many ways to improve his overall game. First and foremost is his energy level. He often disappears during games and overall he doesn't play real hard, especially on the defensive end. Secondly, he needs to improve his jump shot to keep his productive dribble/drive game open. He gets good lift on his shot, but his follow through is inconsistent.
Bottom Line:
Currie has become one of the fastest rising prospects in the west with his ability to score, facilitate, and create scoring opportunities off the dribble.

He was one my list of guy that we scouted earlier. I will go back through the list and see if we are creeping on anyone else.

Micheal Edwards, Russell Woods and Malique Trent-Street seems to be the guys that we are going really hard after.

I think Chester is going to get into the prep placement game.

Little bird told me we are going to reach out to him. But earlier in his recruitment one of the factors was staying close to home.

I'm sure all of you know about this website, but I just found it. They break down who is on the team, position, and year as well as people considering.

I thought we had a shot a Malique Trent, guard, but according to Verbal Commit he chose TCU.  Losing a recruit to the dustcroakers is hard to take.

Don't know how eager I would be to commit to a school where half the team is bailing.

Appears we are trying to get involved with Tony Anderson, looks like there is mutual interest.

Reportedly has offers from WVU, IOWA and Wazzu. Landing Tony would be a good spring signing. I really like his film.

oscar was so excited to that he left out either a preposition or a period in that tweet.
