i dunno how many minutes he can play, but hurt could become a really good player.
How far he can improve his body in the offseason will be super important. It holds him back.

His defense is atrocious. We'll need DJamer to guard the post and rebound.

Hurt has been disappointing at protecting the rim. Has blk% of 2. I think a lot of his issues are from being out of position.

Why do we have Tre leaving? I don't like that scenario.  :frown:

He's always out of position. He's never even accidentally been in the right spot, which is remarkable.

I mean, I like him over Jevon. He's had some nice moments this year. Plus, his name suits his game.  :frown:

Down in Waco he ran out to the wing in transition D, it broke me.

yes, he's horrible at defense.  but he'll have a year to get good.

aside from +10ft FGs and FTs, Hurt is terrible at every facet of the game.  I mean, just horrible.

He rebounds well.

But yeah, his defense is terrible and he doesn't want to be physical. 2 things that make it tough against Big 12 bigs.

I'll assume you have an advanced stat to back this up.  but, when I watch him on TV, it sure seems like he is a very poor rebounder, mostly the product of the fact that he has zero vertical and his physicality, positioning, and footwork are all bad.

Hurt doesn't have bad footwork. He just out of position way too much. I don't think he shies away from contact. I think it is reasonable to think he has a chance to be a good player next year.

conference
OR%   9.9
DR%   14.8
BLK%   2.9
FTRate  46.5
FT%      .708
2FG%    .400
3FG%    .429

If he were a raw Fr., I'd agree with you.  But, he's a Jr and he was not good this year.  he showed nothing to suggest he's going to magically transform into a good, productive big man his Sr year.

very disappointing.  even if DJamer comes back and contributes, our frontcourt is going to be embarrassingly bad next year.

He's skilled offensively, just not enough to outweigh his terrible defense, as of right now. Hopefully he gets better, but he's is kind of long in the tooth for development.

He's skilled at shooting unguarded jumpers.  I've never seen a post move out of him.

I would have to guess the 4 just due to the availability of minutes there vs Westicles, Edwards and even Tre available to play the 3.  If Wade is a legit 3 pt threat it will really help oscar's offense but it is hard to imagine Wade will be able to defend Big 12 3s or 4s

Guys, Wade is ranked #109 right now. #107 is a 4-star. He's so close!

Bossi has said he is really conservative on his ranking because he is local to him and hasn't been seen a ton in the AAU circuit.

I would highly consider attending a St John vs Central Plains title game.
