You can be a mod.  They don't really do anything other than provide a target for us to bitch at. (See: Tech Support and Suggestion board.)  Why you would want that type of life is a little weird, but you are from Arkansas, so I'm not going to pretend to understand.

I don't think you got but one vote.  Your firend could choose A or B if he was more comfortable . That is what most have chosen.  This thing is almost sowed up.

Look SuperG.  I'm  gonna level with you.   I had somebody smarter than me rite that up there.  But I DO aprove of what it says.  I don't care a dang bit about balance but i do think you should try to look balanced.

When i get prompted to Mod, I'll ask for a title of Mod - Almighty and I'll be a new sheriffe  in a small town.  Handin out bans righ and left!

POW POW POW!!!!

OK Cat, Rams and Mocat and EMAWforLifeDSL

and maybe the oft raped Winters.  They all need a break and the bored needs a break from them.

I'll work to make sure that certain people, a staff I'll keep very close, can OCCASIONALLY peer in and monitor the pm's of other members on this bored. This is NOT somethin that would be done ALL the time.  Sparingly!  These people, (Super G would probly be one of the ones on the short list) would report to me things that people say about me and others so I can "deal" with them in a manner that is FAIR.

This would usher in a new tone.  Jack Blasingame, change you can believe in.

Looks good for pJ.

As soon as he sends in his cashier's check for $1,000 he will be appointed mod (barring any snags with the references).

Nope.  The pigaggies have used up too much bandwidth trying to post pictures of some Arky swamps or something and also the company Christmas party planning committee overspent (dramatically) on high quality cocaine.  No fees will be waived this year.   You can pay installments though, that's how =MODS= did it.

Jack-

We have voted and you can simply pay an up front fee of $500 and work the rest off.  This is a hand up, not a hand out!  A chance to earn your place, after a small $500 payment (that is half what most mods have paid).  This is like the "Always Low Prices" (something you can understand) of modding.  Frankly, I cannot believe we approved such a good deal.  You need to jump on it ASAP.

Keith. Old frined.  If it cost a nickle to crap I'd have to puke.  I am afraid I'm a little shy right now of that $500.

How much do the mods make.  Salary?  Old Jacks is not handy with the money right now.  Truth is, I wouldn't pay a nickle to see a piss ant eat a bail of hay.  But I do think i bring a lot to the board and will govern everyone, including you, to the best of my ability.

It pains me to see you grovel.  It truly does.  We aren't running a charity here though.  We have bills to pay and shareholders to make happy.  You can't just stroll into your local Wal-Mart and tell Sam that you are little short and you will pay him back for the case of Mountain Dew, can you?

Mods make great salaries but it take up front investment to prove you are committed.  Surely one of the rich arky posters on here can loan you some $$.  I bet Arthur's ornamental mustang hood scoop alone could bring in $5-10.  And what about that affluent arky booster from NWA who shops exclusively at Jos A. BANK?  He is probably good to give you a loan.  You need to mine your sources.  Frankly, we require a bit more ingenuity out of our mods anyway.

Do you know what you're getting into.  I know you are quite comfortable in that little old mud pond in Ar-kansas, but jees Jack, can you see yourself in the big clear pond like go-emaw.
Think about it a little, because Pondwater Frog there will be somebody like Turlleman waiting to grab ya and throw ya back into the old mud hole.  :nono:
Hot time in Kat town tonight.
