Robbie Laing is a very cool dude.  He and his big family lived next to my sister in Manhattan.  Had some brews with him at my sisters house sometime after he was fired by Wooldridge.  What he said made wooly sound like a complete *ss.  Glad to see he is doing well!

jo would be great, but imagine having maze on this team? Swanson was such a legit recruiter at GC and Hutch.... we should find a way to get that dude on staff if wants to coach again.

where did Swanson end up?  He's like an Underwood that could possibly do something worth a crap.

jo's stats are a little better than maze's.  as a 1st year sophomore.  i don't think there's much question that he was the more valuable recruit.

googled swanson with no luck.  he had a pretty good resume though.  why did hutch jettison him?

I think they had good talent, but "poor" results.  Looks like he "resigned".  Maybe they cheated.

Would love him for his elite combo of east coasters and Pumas.

He is here in Hutch, not coaching anymore. Works for a house-fire restoration company here in Hutch. Talk with him all the time, he keeps telling me he doesn't want to coach anymore. I don't believe it, I really think he wants a D1 assistant job and K-State would be perfect. He goes to almost all the games, and sits in the player/coaches family section.  Frank & co. are pretty close with him. He gives me some pretty inside info on recruiting and coaching. The man can flat out recruit when I was at GCCC he had some unreal talent and maybe the most raw athelete/street player I have seen with Torre Johnson, dude was a freak in juco and just wasted away at O-State. He had Lance Jeter if he wanted him as well.

Back to the point, forget the stats you would want want both maze and DJO, but Maze is more important of a player than DJO and on this team Maze would be a bigger guard and is able to pentrate the lane and dish, score, and not TO the ball against elite teams which Clemente struggles to do. (See Tenn. vs KU).
