grew up with relatives in both kansas and arkansas. kansas relatives were non racist. arkansas relatives were incredibly racist. i mean, i'm sure it's possible that someone could say the opposite but probably not great odds. 2:1? 1:7? not sure how vegas does this.

I have to know... What part of Kansas did you have relatives? What part of Arkansas did you have relatives?
:bait:  looks like you got another one.

Hey I'm an Arkansas intellectual who has learned to academically guild my advocacy of pernicious discrimination and I believe black identity is a self-imposed artificial construct propagated by the liberal mainstream media.

I blame them for President Obama getting elected, also...

You apparently can't recognize them. If you want me to let you know when the discussion starts, I'll give you a hint. It was before you made that ignorant rough ridin' comment. If you want to start a new one, rough ridin' start it, I'm pretty sure, based upon your previous replies, that you will be shown as the fool.
Come on.  :comehere: Give me your best shot, as long as it isn't anything you have said before, because you couldn't stand up in an argument against plywood.

I am not being a smart-alec here, are you saying you want to discuss your fathers employment and your adoption?
You are the one that said I had no dogs in the hunt.
Not that it matters, I would still hold the same positions in any other circumstance.

You know, you're like one of those fish in a small pond that gets caught over and over again and you get don't get it.  One of those shiney objects has got to taste good; the fish thinks "I'm going for it".

Kind of expected that response.  It's like telling that fish to stay away from the bait, but the fish get doesn't understand why anyone wouldn't bite on that... it's so shiny and tastey.

felix rex, do you know the best gang food restaurant in little rock?

i'm not terribly concerned about decor or atmosphere, just looking for some bold flavors for my white girlfriend and her family to enjoy.  we don't get out much and want to try something different.  :frown:

Arkansas might be a little too rough around the edges for a gang newbie. Before taking on "the Rock", I'd suggest acclimating a bit at City Life in Wichita. Just remember that's imperative that you do not accidentally high-beam anybody in the parking lot.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Dude!  My ex-inlaws live in Pine Bluff.  Was there a lot visiting.  I actually do know what I'm talking about.  It's a crime-ridden little burg.  Whether the thugs are white, black, yellow, pink w/ purple polka dots--they are still thugs

Haven't read this entire thread, but has anyone posted about how in AR they voted way more Republican in 2008 than they did in 2004 because....well, I think we know why.

So let me get this straight...
1. A vast swath of your forum comembers make jokes related on how Arkansans are racist.
2. A thread pops up concerning a movie about Little Rock that you all really don't know the context and implications of.
3. I wrongly take the bait and respond in a similar fashion to the racial baiting techniques.
4. You're not fooling anyone with your sophomoric tactics.

Also, the whole "I don't believe in black people" thing really shows how much you can not comprehend simple sociological concepts.

I'm racist as I explained earlier, but you know what is really racist?  White people in ivory towers that have such contempt for another race that they think only they in their infinite wisdom
can save black people from drug abuse, poverty, single parent homes, poor education etc.  You can not help me, you can not make my life better you egotistical, pompous, fool, only
I can.  I am in charge of me.  I am accountable for my lot in life, and I wouldn't have it any other way, because that is what freedom is all about.
This is one of the best quotes I have read in this entire board regarding what one needs to do in life.  Thx.

There are some rich black politicians in ebony towers that think they can change other's lot in life.  They support or enact that type of legislation everyday.   Because I say this, am I racist, republican or both?

Comparing the 2004 reelection attempt of an unpopular incumbent W Bush with the 2008 election with no incumbents doesn't really show much
Also, go back and read what I said about statistics?

Well then I'd love to hear your insight as to what else you racist Arkansans were thinking on election day in 2008.

Reference the maps I posted.  That's the one that's interesting.  You've called out people for dodging questions or arguments or whatever.  So step up and tell me what else Arkansas people were thinking on 2008 in relation to 2004.
