Lets get back to how piggies tried to make a gang problem a race problem.

Average Race/Ethnicity of Gang Members
by Area Type, 2005–2008

Larger Cities   Suburban Counties   Smaller Cities   Rural Counties
Black or African American   35.6%                    32.3%                       29.6%                            41.3%
Hispanic or Latino                   48.1                     43.8                        49.7                             30.2

White                                            9.3                            14.5                      15.3                             18.9
Other                                            6.9                         9.3                         5.1                               9.6

Stats are 3 years old but I'd says there's a direct correlation between race and gang member/activity.

Correlation is not causation.
Many times gangs do heavily involve race, whether it be the aryan brotherhood, bloods, ms13, or any other similar organization. Race is not inherently the cause though, the cause is disenfranchisement of communities.

I didn't try to make a gang problem a race problem, I wrongly took the childish bait that this thread was originally.

I hear ya bro... I wasn't saying you were making that assumption. This whole thread is a complete waste of bandwidth and these KSU trolls continue to think that you've said or we've said that because you're black, you're in a gang... That being said just because I'm white doesn't mean I'll be the next JB Hunt or Jim Walton (sticking with the Arkansas Fortune 500 for those KSU fans that have no clue of reality outside Manhattan). And just because somebody is black or Hispanic, doesn't mean they'll end up in a gang. Being in a gang is a choice people make. How people make those choices is determined by a plethora of factors throughout ones life, upbringing and home life being 2 huge factors in this discussion

You took gang bait and made it race bait. Not sure you realized this, but you made it infinitely worse. It's very telling.

Read the first page. Arthur Dent was telling us that you are incorrect. I mean:

Quote
The fact that a large number of people on this forum are suspiciously fixated on topics of race even though it should just be about a football game.

Nobody mentioned race until this. The fact you all interpret this as a race issue is hilarious. It's like we don't even have to try

Yes, it is very telling. Its very telling that some of you like to take complicated situations in locations you have no knowledge of and condense them into petty sophomoric taunts.

EDIT: Also, you don't have to specifically say things to imply them.

Nobody implied this was racial. You specifically said it was.

Hey, I'm from Arkansas and I don't believe in black people.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

So let me get this straight...
1. A vast swath of your forum comembers make jokes related on how Arkansans are racist.
2. A thread pops up concerning a movie about Little Rock that you all really don't know the context and implications of.
3. I wrongly take the bait and respond in a similar fashion to the racial baiting techniques.
4. You're not fooling anyone with your sophomoric tactics.

Also, the whole "I don't believe in black people" thing really shows how much you can not comprehend simple sociological concepts.

I'm racist as I explained earlier, but you know what is really racist?  White people in ivory towers that have such contempt for another race that they think only they in their infinite wisdom
can save black people from drug abuse, poverty, single parent homes, poor education etc.  You can not help me, you can not make my life better you egotistical, pompous, fool, only
I can.  I am in charge of me.  I am accountable for my lot in life, and I wouldn't have it any other way, because that is what freedom is all about.

No, I have no semi-nationalistic view of my state. I know there are difficulties that we have overcome and still need to overcome. I just wonder why many folks on here would rather engage in schoolyard provocation tactics than actually have an intelligent and civil discussion on what seems to be a very popular topic.
what difficulties do we have to overcome?
The fact that there should be a living wage instead of a minimum wage.
The fact that all tax paying citizens of the US should be able to go the the hospital without worry.
Laws that are created based on institutionalized racism.
Products of a national bureaucracy created around institutionalized racism.
The xenophobic laws in Arizona, Utah, and Alabama against Hispanic peoples.
The fact that LGBT people can not marry.
The hatefully generalistic views against Islam.
The pay gap between males and females.

There are many more...

seems like these things have been concerning you.
it’s not like I’m tired of WINNING, but dude, let me catch my breath.

They do concern me.
I have not at any one time said that I had some sort of superpowers to fix those problems though.
I wish I did, but I see no place in that for you to call me a pompous fool. I'm not patronizing, I'm just pissed at what I perceive to be injustices.

Oh ok, I get it you don't really have a dog in any of these fights, you just go around and perceive injustices, and then tell as many people as you can about how perceptive
and selfless you are to be concerned about something that doesn't directly affect you.  This transparent outreach for validation as a decent human being is very telling.
I would be much more impressed if you went around doing good works and then didn't tell anyone.

grew up with relatives in both kansas and arkansas. kansas relatives were non racist. arkansas relatives were incredibly racist. i mean, i'm sure it's possible that someone could say the opposite but probably not great odds. 2:1? 1:7? not sure how vegas does this.

Ok, now you have gone and done it. You don't know rough ridin' crap about me.
My father was laid off from a company that he had been at for over 25 years because it went under due to executive theft.
I myself am adopted and have no real idea of my own genetic lineage.
One thing I do is have serious discussions about topics you apparently can't rough ridin' handle.
If you want to just shout insults then you can go find a rough ridin' kindergarten that you can attempt to outmatch you little piece of insignificance.

You apparently can't recognize them. If you want me to let you know when the discussion starts, I'll give you a hint. It was before you made that ignorant rough ridin' comment. If you want to start a new one, rough ridin' start it, I'm pretty sure, based upon your previous replies, that you will be shown as the fool.

Hey I'm an Arkansas intellectual who has learned to academically guild my advocacy of pernicious discrimination and I believe black identity is a self-imposed artificial construct propagated by the liberal mainstream media.
