 :surprised:

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Cool!  You guys did better in a league with Missouri, Kansas, Iowa State, Baylor, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M.  There are pretty much 6 for sure wins in your conference every year-- all you have to do is be slightly above mediocre.

'03 Texas game is a perfect example.  Arkansas went to texas and completely but wiped Texas (10-3 texas who only lost one big12 conference game), but Arkansas went 9-4 (probably should have been more like 7-6).  Our 3 loss conference team had their way with your 1 loss conference team (who was playing at home), that's pretty much the Big12 MO.

Winning the special olympics, is not like winning the olympics.  Congrats tho, because you have an AWESOME coach.  Even with some of the worst talent in the big 12 and a mostly unsupportive fanbase, he can prepare like no other.  No sarcams there, Snyder is the real deal.

Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Mississippi State.  That's like playing KU and Iowa State twice.  It's no wonder you SEC teams have such an easy time getting bowl eligible.

Mississippi State has had 8 winning seasons, if not more, in that period of time, playing in the SEC-West, at that.

Keep telling yourself that, I mean you can still say you lost to the #1 and #2 teams after we contribute to your already stellar Cotton Bowl history - right?

Also, SEC was maybe the 2nd best conference from 1991-2005ish...Has been best since the NC run started, but it was pretty even for other conferences throughout the 90's and the early 2000's...Then again, so what if you play in the SEC, you can't win bowl games and you've only played in 3 conference championships in the last 20 years - losing by an average of 23 pts each time.

Pig Aggies are looking more and more like Tex Aggies.

By "even" do you mean Oklahoma and Nebraska just killing everyone (yourselves included)?

Can't complain about us riding on coattails of  Alabama and LSWHO, when you are hanging your conference laurels for THE ENTIRE 90'S on the arms of 2 teams.

Here's a cool stat.  In the same period of time quoted above, KState has only beaten an SEC opponent once.

That, like I said, would be 1 win against an SEC opponent.

So KSU .500 vs. SEC and Arky .498 in that time period.  Nobody excels at mediocrity like the Arkansas Razorbacks.

actually, I think .500 is probably the definition of mediocrity so sub .500 (say .498) would mean that they can't even achieve mediocrity, let alone excel at it.  But I do smell what you're cooking here though.

quibbling over 2 one-hundredths of a difference?  Wow!

How about this?  It's gonna be a good game.  Yeah, I'm all for the Razorbacks whipping the ever-loving crap about of every opponent they play--but doesn't always happen.  Doesn't always happen for you guys either.

Best of luck

Love that pig aggy is too stupid to realize that the bottom half of their league would be auto wins for any team in the big 12.  ISU would be an 8 win team this year with an SEC schedule.

Just go back to living vicariously through the accomplishments of others.

Ok, lets expand upon this comment here.  .500 vs .498....
Based on what you have said your team would only have a .002 difference with a team you have said has excellent mediocrity. So you basically just made an argument that your team is excellent at mediocrity as well.
