"we have a lot of ganstas in the locker room...I don't mean thugs.... but tough guys.  you get in our face and we will zip you up.  That's our motto, 'Zip it up'. so we zipped them up"

Best post game conf ever.

They don't even care that they won't be on the team or at that school as of this time next week.

Also, the Cinci coach was pissed.  Sounds like he plans on throwing half his team off.

That was a Xavier player.  He'll be on the team next week.

Holloway said it.  He could say that for damn near any team and be starting next game.

Cincy's coach after the game
Quote
That's what I was hired to do six years ago. And that's what will happen as long as I'm the coach, whether we have five guys on the team on Monday, or 10 or 13. There's enough guys out there that would appreciate the scholarship. I don't care how good you are."

Time to pack my bags for Cincy.   :gocho:

So...will any of Xavier's good players be suspended for the Hawaii tournament?  Because if we face them at full strength, we might as well just give up now.

6 games is a joke.  Don't take my word for it, ask Curt.

Lyons will miss the first round of the Diamond Head against LBSU.  Not sure why people are cheering for Xavier to have their players miss games.  In the off chance we do make the championship game I'd rather play a full strength or near full strength Xavier.

if we beat a depleted x team no one will remember they were depleted.

OK, maybe in this situation, they would.

the only player they wouldn't have would be wells.  a reserve that has been getting about 20 minutes a game.
