I liked that killer look on his face when he got to the line.

Solid performance from Angel tonight.  He drove to the bucket, got to the line, and distributed the ball really well.  The results were outstanding.  He reminds me of Doug Gottlieb (on offense).

Did Angel shoot a decent 3 point % in high school (not sure if there's any way to find those stats??)?  I know he likely won't shoot his high school % but trying to figure out what a realistic expectation is once he finds his stroke.

automatic.

 :dubious:

I will agree he has the best mid range J on the team,

I gotta say, Irving is making a strong push for this title, really knocked them down with confidence and regularity on Sat.

And so I don't deflect the spotlight from Angel in his own thread, against Bama he was absolutely that creative, dynamic offensive threat I've been bitching about us lacking. I know he's a ways from it now, but I think he's capable of  hitting about 35% from 3, and if he can do that, he could be a very special player for the KSU Cats,

I gotta say, Irving is making a strong push for this title.

irving typically mid-ranges from 12-14, southie from 8-10, so irving will never challenge for the in-game title, though he might be able to beat southie at mid-range horse.

While he wanted to leave his native country, it’s also a background that he carries with him today with great pride. Initially listed as being from Miami, Fla., in K-State media material, he requested that all future mention would list his home as being San Juan.

“I have a lot of pride. I lived in Miami only three years, while I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I know what it is like to be Puerto Rican and I have family in Puerto Rico,” said Rodriguez, who has a Puerto Rican flag in his apartment and lists native hip-hop/rap artist Kendo Kaponi as being featured in his iPod. “It makes me feel good and my family will be proud.”

Now is not the time to gloat about who is right or wrong about #teamangel. Now is the time to enjoy a great Cats win.

I think now is the time to gloat. Just toward the people that evaluate solely based on FG%.
