They had the best player on the floor (Jones) and they won. Simple really.
two teams with limited offense and good/great defense.
Jones was the best player but we lost because one person didn't do his job. It happens and it's why we lost. It's that simple. If jo guards the 3 we win the game, and we all fell a lot better

They also had one of their FR role players step up and make some plays. We had Gip make a few and Rod make a few, but it wasn't enough.

I though it was a good match-up. I mean, he would be hard to shoot over, if he didn't bite on the jab step. He should have played the 3 all the way. They needed a 3.

They needed a 3.sight lines be damned, we're talking about a 6'8" guy who shot 40% from 3 two years ago and 30% last year, over 100 attempts each year. not exactly a 'jhr standing at the free throw line swatting lobs back down gary coleman's throat'-type of situation. jones seized a good opportunity and executed - quit making jhr the demon for that play when he had so many other shitty ones for an entire game.
