I MEAN JESUS rough ridin' CHRIST WHEN YOU'RE UP BY THREE AND THE SHOT CLOCK IS OFF WHO rough ridin' CARES IF THEY DRIVE FOR A TWO JUST rough ridin' PLANT YOUR FEET ON THE THREE POINT LINE AND PUT YOUR rough ridin' HANDS UP HOW rough ridin' HARD IS THAT crap

Yep, should've had Rod on Jones at that point.

Or anyone that understands that when you are up 3, you guard the 3...eff me jo you rough ridin' retardI

Well yes, my point is Rod is more likely to be able to stay with Jones as opposed to JO, who obviously couldn't.

haven't seen the talent discrepancy yet this year to call that a bad loss.  frustrating?  yeah.

Why are people acting like we missed an opportunity for a good win?

This was a BAD LOSS.

Meh. You are over playing that talking point. We're a mid pack Big 12 team. They are a mid pack Big East team.

DID YOU MERGE MY THREADS? :dubious:

No.

And there is a difference between a game we should've won and a bad loss. This was a game we should've won. Its not like we're talking about 08 Oregon here.

I agree, there is a difference. This is the latter. Not '08 Oregon, but not '10 Florida either. WVU is not good and this was a semi-home game. This is probably comparable to '10 ISU.

Imagine this: You are forced to watch that game in a Chili's in Andover, MA under the audio of a Boston Bruins/Florida Panther game. I had the 19" tv in the corner by the asian  guy with a lezbo haircut.

Is it too much to ask to have one guard who can drive the lane and get to the line?

Really would've been nice when the refs went foul happy in the second half.

That comparison makes no sense to me. Its got to be a situational (OOC) comparison to make sense. Maybe 09 Ole Miss is as close as I can come up with. Or 07 Oregon (at home, in OT).

I do agree it was a game we should have won. No question we blew it.

Has 'Tay ever made a layup in his life?

Still love you though 'Tay. Your on-ball defense is incred.

I'm talking resume here. Time of year doesn't matter when they start throwing up the "bad losses" stat. This game will fall into that category, if we can somehow get to the point where our resume is even being discussed.

It just feels like the kind of loss a team on the wrong side of the bubble takes, hope I am wrong

get a grip, this won't be a bad loss.     a 2 OT game against a mid-level big east team is not a bad loss.

Yeah, I can see that.

I think I put too much stock into the good of teh 2nd half at VTech. We are what we are, a bubble-ish team. Very important to beat Bama now.

Frustrating, but not a big surprise. Probably most surprising is that I thought we could really do something with JO and Jamar tonight and we didn't. WV handles Jamar and JO has been well discussed.

Jamar handles himself. LOL at anyone thinking he had magically changed this year. He'll give us games like OSU at the Sprint and VaTech, and then disappear for 5. You know it. I know it. He knows it.

I rough ridin' hate this team.

I knew we were going to lose. I could feel it in my bones the second they dropped that three at the end of regulation.  I hope Frank kills 1 out of every 10 players for this. I hope it's JHR too.

The guards need to be beaten senseless for ever letting JO get past halfcourt on his attempted breakaways.

Still wonder why JO's lanky uncoordinated self was guarding him. I know he's tall and all, but at least get some one a little bit more rough ridin' athletic to guard that shot!!!  :chainsaw: :chainsaw: :chainsaw: :curse: :curse: :chainsaw:

it's a nice choice because that dude wrote tons of songs about life as an abused child in which his stepfather's anger is prominently featured.
