These dudes stretched a lot, like MGMT, and Bullet With Butterfly Wings, which is very clearly i-VI-III-VII-i, not I-V-vi-IV.  So :dubious:.  And  :nerd:!  But yes, I-V-vi-IV is a very common pop-rock progression for songs that suck crap and are extremely uncreative.



Oh man.  You guys want some truly amazing music?  Peep mullet man's performance on a Detroit-area talk show in the '80s.  Mind-blowing.

Yeah, and they take some liberty by playing songs in different keys, but it's still cool.  And creative.  And if asked, I'd ask for some more, as the thread title suggests.

They love doing this sort of thing with whatever gets requested at piano bars... Really counting on the listeners being drunk and not noticing any nuances.
