So is our D-Line good enough/their O-Line bad enough where we can disrupt their QB on a regular basis?
Yes. Kansas State is 90th in sacks this year, so it won't be as prolific as we have seen, but you will get pressure on him.
We are giving up 5 sacks per game and a ton of hits on the QB. KState averages 1.5 sacks per game, so I think three sacks (probably on 3rd downs) is NOT unreasonable to expect. I'd expect 10-15 SOLID hits on Tyler. We've literally watched him get completely lit up all year, it is amazing he pops back up like he does.
Now, who will be making these sacks/hurryups/hits? I don't know. I do NOT think it will be Williams, because he has completely disappeared in big games this year. I think it will be Voelker (SP?) or Brown who will be getting the majority of the pressure. I think Brown will be very instrumental in this game, defensively, for KState. He is not a coverage liability, like a lot of LBs (and like your secondary can be), I think he can match up with our tight end fairly well, and I think with the time Snyder has to scheme, he will be more involved in the Pass Rush than he has been this year.
