Anyone else surprised we have the highest RPI of any Big 12 team?  18th.  I know it's early but me thinks this is a good sign.  A win over WVU or Alabama could put us in good shape heading into confy.

If we beat WVU and Alabama we will be in more than good shape. Especially after the way we played the first few games.

beating both could be a stretch...i'd be happy with one win out of the two games...obviously prefer to beat Alabama.  It is a plus that the games are close to home...hope they are considered "neutral site" games....my guess is they are.

Last friday, I wold have told you we are going to lose all three games (VT, WVU, Ala.), and lose by a lot. But after our win Sunday, I'm pretty confident (94%) that we are not as god awful as I once thought. Heres to  :crossfingers:  :ksu:

I think we should beat West Virginia (RPI 118) no problem, they don't seem to be as good as Virginia Tech and Martin should be more pumped to beat Huggins than the other way around.   That would most likely put us at 7-0 against Alabama, confidence rising!

It was great to see us play well in the 2nd half against VT....I really think people put too much empahsis on the first few games.  There are a TON of bcs schools that got beat by no names, thankfully we weren't one of them.  I expect us to improve dramatically moving forward as this team gels.   :ksu:

I haven't watched TeamHuggs yet this year, but they don't sound fantastic.

I think we beat Bob, but Bama will be tough. I'd take 1-1 in these two.

Oh.  Don't know what I was thinking of.  Maybe I heard a mid game score that had them up by more?

GT was ahead by 9 with 3 minutes left. Bama came back and took the lead with 13 seconds left. GT hit the 3 to win it with 1.8 secs.

Frank's teams always start slow, I'm not going to lose any sleep on games meow. The Va Tech game looked promising though..

as good as we looked at vt, how good can we be if Gruds plays to his expected potential?  He's been next to non-existent offensively.

Or just schedule all non-bad person employees to work

Brennan spreading the KSU Cat love

Quote
1. What will be the next currently unranked team to emerge nationally?

Eamonn Brennan: Keep an eye on Kansas State. The Wildcats are sneakily undefeated, got a few votes after a solid win at Virginia Tech on Sunday, and have two impending games -- versus West Virginia on Thursday (in Wichita) and at Alabama on Dec. 17 -- that are both winnable, provided the Wildcats keep playing the staunch defense that appears to be the trademark of this team.

being good at football makes me care much, much less about basketball until january. and i don't mean that in a negative way. i would be way too nit-picky about the hoops team right now if i didn't have football to take up the majority of my attention.

I thought I might react that way, but I got all jacked up and forgot about the football team when I watched the VT game.
