Jay, to confirm your identity without revealing too much more about yourself, please tell me who your favorite teacher in high school was.
Duggan,

That would be Kamps. or Schneweis.
Never had Kamps since I moved to KC my junior year, but he was a cool dude.
Schneweis was just crazy enough to make you think twice about slamming the door.

If you're the real Jay, what's with this lowercase e e cummings crap way of writing?  You're not exactly representing the K-State school of journalism very well.

We type all day in caps, so we never use shift. So when I log on here, I just switch the caps lock off. My bad. I'll clean it up

Embrace it, EMAWs.

And FWIW I would also kick the ever-loving crap out of any Jay Dillon and any gopowercat fuckface in a K-State trivia contest.  Jay, do you know minutiae all the way down to the 1993 Copper Bowl attendance off the top of your head?  Do you?  Because I do.  I mean, sweet Jesus...can you even pronounce Hmielewski?  Did you have a gerbil that you named Askia in honor of the man who rattled off 14-18 from 3-point land against Tark the Shark?  Have any idea where your Ski Lift poster is?  I do.  Know who won the Porky Morgan Award in 2002-2003?  Gilson De Jesus, [redacted].  Do you have a Power Towel and a McGrowl Towel hanging in your home right next to each other?  Didn't think so.

...Bitch.

Feel bad about this one now but I'm still all amped up about the possibility of a trivia contest.

something i read on the internet.

Link?

can we call it 'pulling an arkansan'?

Sure.

I could have sworn it was on this thread: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=173&f=2670&t=8392510
but it's not there. Spent the last 30 minutes searching the board but I can't find it. I read it Monday morning and evening. Either way; it was a mistake.

Haha! Naw, you got me on the trivia. I was brainwashed as a kid to root for the beak until I finally saw the beautiful purple light.

Well, it's not that important where you heard it, we believe you.  Anytime you bring up "the other site" over at GPC you get 4 or 5 people saying that the only people here are people that were banned from there...which is obviously bullshit.  But it kept me away for a few months until curiosity got the best of me.

Holy crap, did I ever pick the wrong night to go to bed early.  Wow.

Also, is Jay now the most impressive goEMAW rebirth we have had?  Hatter was pretty big, but I haven't seen this kind of 180 on goEMAW/ksufans before...goat to glory.  Props to Jay.

NWA's version of BITB.  Over the course of a couple days, he will have angried up both sides and befriended both sides, all while drawing more attention to his station, the sport, and the teams involved.

Well done Jay.

You are obvs ready for a bigger market.
