According to Cottonbowl.com, the game is sold out, though you can still get kinda-overpriced tickets through the weird ticket exchange service on their website. No idea how many of those tickets were snatched up by advantageous scalper lowlifes, but fwiw the crap is effectively sold out. If you still want a ticket, pay through the nose. (Translation: sorry, poor pig aggie fans.)

Somebody kindly tweet this information to the fuckstick Sugar Bowl rep who went with VT because they sold tickets to the game 100 years ago.

Making a relevant re-post. Just put this in another thread, seems better here:

Purchased my tickets over the lunch hour today. Since then prices have gone up more than $50. And the exchange site does have a ridiculous $30 processing fee per ticket. Add required express shipping on there and it adds up pretty quick. Stubhub is no better. Also, the students are getting shafted with tickets. 2000 spirit passes and only 500 reserved seats are offered. Pretty much means entrance to the stadium and it allows you to watch the TVs but good luck seeing the stadium.

2000 people on that landing?! The first row can see the field, everyone else is screwed. Only $50!

Should be LOADS of scalper tix available off of poor people from Arkansas. $20 and a hard pack of menthols should get you lower level.

Pro tip: filly found us a deal on ebay! Give it a try. $200 18 rows up section 121. They're trying to make you pay $200 for the 400+ level! Don't do it! That or just scalp when you get there.

No I know, but it wasn't until tonight that the website covered the image on its front page with the SOLD OUT stamp.

Over the lunch hour today, I paid about $250 each for a block of tickets in the 3rd level corner. Face value is $125. Checked a bunch of sites (StubHub, TicketCity, etc.) and this was the best I could find.

Yeah I'm beyond anger right now. I guess we didn't understand the whole ticket system and like idiots we waited until tonight to try to buy. They're like $100 more expensive today than yesterday, and for worse seats. No way we can afford that. If ANYONE HAS TICKETS THAT ARE REASONABLY PRICED that they would like to sell, let me know!

Both schools have sold their allotted 12,500 tickets. There is no way to tell how many will be there fore each school until the stadium fills up.

Wish I pre-ordered, but this was the only bowl I could go to, and I didn't want to screw with selling tickets to the rough ridin' Insight Bowl if it didn't work out.

Wish I had bought last night when things were still pretty reasonble, but I didn't have my crap together. At least I bought them this afternoon before the prices jumped even higher.

Fortunately, we K-State fans are loaded, but it's the principle of the thing.

the price jumped $50/ea on almost every seat. Just sickening.

Just go down to Dallas and buy from a scalper. You'll pay slightly less but will still get raped.

went to ace tickets tonight and he couldn't find anything on the emaw side for less than like $300

we ended up getting 14 tickets for $250-275 on the arky side which seems to indicate that we are selling more tickets or that arky fans are confused on which side to buy tickets on

so there definitely is standing room only available? is it only available day of the game in dallas? considering the prices it seems worth it to me to buy a SRO and just try to sit somewhere that looks empty. have to figure there will be empty sections that the brokers/scalpers are unable to sell.
