Why pig aggie?  Are y'all using aggie as an insult even though you're an ag school?   :dunno:

Any school in a conference that would be dumb enough to invite Real Aggie into their fold deserves the "Aggie" moniker.

Therefore, you're Pig Aggie.  Missouri is Meth Aggie.  LSU is Hat Aggie.  It is what it is.

Agreeance that it was dumb to invite them and Mizzou, apparently the SEC is just picking up whatever they see on the crap heap.

Ok, take my stadium capacity part out of it and argue with the rest.  There is a reason that you got snubbed by the BCS.

Pretty sure Arky St. is the better team in that state because their bowl game is on Jan. 8th and pig aggie's is on Jan. 6th.

Funny part about stAte is that they've NEVER had a winning season when the Hogs are down. They only succeed because when Arkansas does well for a couple years, they can pass over lower-rated recruits in the state that Arkansas State can snatch up. They've had a fantastic year, though, easily the best in school history

Yes,  as some posted.  Arkansas is pretty much a "one" school state.  It could be worse though.   We could be the worst of a state with two schools        I mean, until beasley played a year at kstate who knew you had a basketball team?  Are you relevant in anything other than having a overall football record of 476-671?  Or whatever the desparity is (who cares).    I believe the jayhawks basketball team is pretty much what anyone thinks of whenever the word kansas and sports are put into the same sentence. No one ever thinks of kstate. Plain and simple.

Seriously, if anyone truly thought that kstate was worthy of a BCS selection your team would have been playing in a BCS bowl.  But, no one truly believed the whole "the big ??? is the best conf. this year" BS!   If they did, then Okiehomo st. would have been playing against Lsu for the NC.  Sorry for your butthurt, but  no one believed in you guys and why should they.  Okie st lost to a barely .500 team and yet bitches like a girl when they get left out of the NC game??  Come on man!

Look forward to playing you guys in the cotton bowl.  =-)  May the best team win.

Arkansas 676–451–40 (.596)
KState   475–612–41 (.439)
Up until 1989 Kansas State was considered the worst football program in the country. Yet K-State has six 11 win seasons in the past 12 years.

Is it really true that the great football power arKansas has two 11 win seasons and none since 1977 with Dr. Lou?

So basically, during the modern bowl BCS era of college football arKansas has been irrelevant and K-State has three times the number of 11 win seasons that you have in your entire program's existence.

Yes, 11 win seasons in the Big 8 and Big 12, whilst playing teams like Eastern Kentucky in OOC.... definitely something to hang your hat on.

We've been busy being the whipping boy of the SEC, which is still better than being Nebraska's bitch.

What do Iowa and Penn State have to do with this?

Exactly!  I think instead of KState fans trying to think of themselves as something they aren't... we should all get together at halftime on the fifty... get in a big circle, and sing kumbaya.  We need a spiritual cleansing for how horrible we've been for so long; both teams.  The saddest part of playing KState is that someone has to lose, and we'd much rather beat someone we hate.

In all honesty, I respect your football team.  Colin Klein is a beast and I have made some good money betting on you guys this year.  Should be a good game.  Your running game is going to give us problems but our passing game against your 104th ranked pass D is going to be very advantageous for us.

Well i did a little research too and here is what I found:

K-State has faced the #2, 4, 5, 6, 21, 60, 64, 76, 85, 102, & 110 ranked passing offenses in the country.
The average rank of the passing offenses that K-State faced in conference play is 40.1.

The best passing team arKansas has faced this year was something called Troy at #19 followed up by ATM at #21. After that you faced the following NCAA rated pass offenses 53, 73, 91, 93, 97, 98, 99, 106, & 107.
The average rank of the passing offenses that arKansas faced in conference play is 90.5. The highest ranked passing offense arKansas faced in conference play was 13 spots lower (53) than the average team that K-State faced passing this year in conference. How is that even possible?

No wonder arKansas ranks highly in pass offense, nobody else in the SEC understands that Knute Rockne brought in the forward pass to college football.

arKansas averaged 68.5 offensive rushing or passing snaps per game. K-state didn’t face any team in conference play that averaged less than 70 rushing or passing snaps per game. The closest we came to facing a slow down team like arKansas was the U of Miami that only averaged 61 snaps per game this year. You can laugh all you want about K-State's defensive ranking, but arkansas is the top passing team in the SEC and it will be a breather from any offense we faced in conference play this year.
The great SEC defensive numbers are based upon offenses that run clock and don’t leave there defense out on the field. We understand that at K-State, Snyder practically invented it.
Unfortunately for K-State's defensive ranking as well as the rest of the conference, Big 12 offenses play like their hair is on fire 60 minutes per game.

Good luck.
K-State won't need it!

Yeah, we do, because it Will be a breather compared to the other offensives we've faced this year. It's simple really. I don't know why you PigAggie's don't understand this.

arKansas played Troy (3-9), New Mexico (1-11), and Missouri State (non div I)  SEC teams do not play good OOC teams and rarely any OOC on the road. (6-6) ATM was at a neutral site.

K-State played Miami (FL) on the road.
