In all honesty, I respect your football team. Colin Klein is a beast and I have made some good money betting on you guys this year. Should be a good game. Your running game is going to give us problems but our passing game against your 104th ranked pass D is going to be very advantageous for us.
Well i did a little research too and here is what I found:
K-State has faced the #2, 4, 5, 6, 21, 60, 64, 76, 85, 102, & 110 ranked passing offenses in the country.
The average rank of the passing offenses that K-State faced in conference play is 40.1.
The best passing team arKansas has faced this year was something called Troy at #19 followed up by ATM at #21. After that you faced the following NCAA rated pass offenses 53, 73, 91, 93, 97, 98, 99, 106, & 107.
The
average rank of the passing offenses that arKansas faced in conference play is 90.5. The
highest ranked passing offense arKansas faced in conference play was 13 spots lower (53) than the average team that K-State faced passing this year in conference. How is that even possible?
No wonder arKansas ranks highly in pass offense, nobody else in the SEC understands that Knute Rockne brought in the forward pass to college football.
arKansas averaged 68.5 offensive rushing or passing snaps per game. K-state didn’t face
any team in conference play that averaged less than 70 rushing or passing snaps per game. The closest we came to facing a
slow down team like arKansas was the U of Miami that only averaged 61 snaps per game this year. You can laugh all you want about K-State's defensive ranking, but arkansas is the top passing team in the SEC and it will be a breather from any offense we faced in conference play this year.
The great SEC defensive numbers are based upon offenses that run clock and don’t leave there defense out on the field. We understand that at K-State, Snyder practically invented it.
Unfortunately for K-State's defensive ranking as well as the rest of the conference, Big 12 offenses play like their hair is on fire 60 minutes per game.
Good luck.
K-State won't need it!
