Maybe it has something to do with the poor healthcare of the region?

Maybe also has something to do with people bringing bullets and guns to the games? Who does that?

If the OP has a sodium rich diet, he's probably wise to keep an eye on his heart rate and blood pressure.

When Mizzou was in the Big 12, we all thought Arkansas was a state full of redneck losers.

Seriously though. Up until we played you in 2012, I thought State was in Conference USA or another mid-major conference. Maybe because they're of no relevance in the Big XII? :dunno:

Yeah, they're definitely redneck losers.  I don't know where I was going with that, sorry.

Guys I have to be honest...I kind of care about this game. I anticipate I will probably check and record my blood pressure 3, possibly 4 times over the course of the game. Do I...do I take it to the shame yourself thread?  :dunno:

Don't even bother responding to Mizmaw. He's worried that Arkansas will pass Missouri in the number of annual methamphetamine related arrests.

Why don't you head on out to yet another MU "Black Lives Matter"  meeting where you get to march and yell with them, but when it comes to sitting down and talking it out at the end of the day, the megaphone yells, "sorry, all Whites have to leave now, its just the way it is, a Black thang and ya'll wouldn't understand"

My friends at South Dakota State told me this is the best and most active KSU forum.  Is that true?

More proof Arkansas is poor, disgusting, and generally a place nobody wants to live:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/5/29/1388789/-Stunning-maps-showing-how-much-you-need-to-earn-in-each-state-to-afford-a-two-bedroom-rental-unit

First off, this article is probably fake... and even if it wasn't, it proves none of the 3 points you made.

Guys, there is a bar in Fayetteville that has chicken wire dividing the stage/musicians from the rest of the bar.  I think it's to protect the band from the people throwing crap at them.  I hope the bowl committee is taking the same steps to keep coaches and players from both teams safe from these animals.

You bet. BEEN THERE, DONE THAT. Back in the 2000's we played a place in Fayettville, AR. It was kind of a logging style bar with a bunch of college kids. Those guys and gals came out on the weekend for 3 things. DRINK, FIGHT AND well I'll leave the other to your imaginations. The chicken wire was there and needed every night.
I remember one night, a guy pulled his gun out to shoot the guy at another table and accidentally shot his wife in the foot. She nearly beat his damn head off with her purse, then pulled her gun out of her purse and I thought the guy was gonna die, right there on the spot. The bouncer knew both of them well and talked her out of the gun. They all settled down and kept drinkin and having a big old time the rest of the night. They finally had to remove that couple from the bar that night. It was not for fighting though. They were litterally having sex in the dark corner of the damce floor. I mean a good old fashion dirt road getting after it no holds barred pants down to the knees dress up past the waist and getting after it right in front of GOD and everybody. I don't think they knew or cared that the bar was packed and everyone was being entertained, and not by the band at that time.

AAAAHHHHHHHH. THE GOOD OLE DAYS.

Yeah sure, lucky we lived through some of those GOOD OLE DAYS

Though ya'll might emjoy that war story.

Have fun

To put this in context, the Fayetteville club is notoriously remembered as one of the roughest clubs in the state, complete with a chicken wire encased stage that may have been the inspiration for the Blues Brothers movie. Crittendon was told to put his shirt back on and act right or the crowd would wait for him and kick his ass.
