Say, when Coach Methuselah kicks the bucket (hope it doesn't happen during the game; that would be awkward..), are you guys gonna re-hire that Turner Gill fella?  He did good for you back a few years ago as I recall.

The AD didn't like how he was running up the score on our bowl opponents.

seems like a weird reason to fire a guy imho.  he was a cheater on and off the field, so maybe you guys are better off in the long run.

Its not surprising that Arkansas is pumped to play a Big 12 team in a bowl when the SEC is the lowest power 5 RPI conference

This from espn.com:

AutoZone Liberty Bowl

Kansas State vs. Arkansas
Jan. 2 (ESPN, 3:20 p.m.)

Why to watch: It's one of the more interesting coaching matchups of the postseason: gentlemanly LHC Bill Snyder versus brash Bret Bielema.

Who to watch: Arkansas junior Hunter Henry won the John Mackey Award as the country's top tight end. He had 46 catches for 647 yards with three touchdowns and is a nightmare matchup for defenses.

Motivation for Kansas State: The Wildcats beat West Virginia 24-23 to finish 6-6 and become bowl eligible. They'd like to avoid their first losing season since going 5-7 in 2008. They've lost six of their last seven bowl games, too.

Motivation for Arkansas: After routing Texas 31-7 in the Texas Bowl last season, the Hogs can win three bowl games in a row for the first time in school history.

Prediction: Arkansas 31, Kansas State 28

Seriously?  You guys have lost 6 of your last 7 bowls?  And isn't that all the bowls you have ever played in?  I'd be ashamed...
