Not really any more worried about Arkansas than I was about Baylor, Tech, OU, OSU, etc. Sure, they can air it out but I think it will be closer to the OSU game than the OU game.

Jim Delaney (big 10 commish) runs CFB, he wants Michigan to play VT not us or Boise. Therefore it happens. No one should be surprised the BCS operates this way. It has for years.

Enjoy the Cotton. If you want a villain, delaney is your man and the main obstacle to a playoff.

good point, I have no doubt recruits are more impressed by us playing a bowl in their home state than they would if we were in the sugar rough ridin' bowl.

I really like the Cotton Bowl. Would have loved a BCS but the Cotton has tons of good things going for it.

Yea, I'm a little upset but Cotton is about what I expected at the beginning of the day and I'm not sure why I should be so pissed now. Its prob the easiest one to get to also. Would've like the extra sacks of money for our school/conference

The Sugar Bowl is one of the oldest bowls in college football as it was first played on New Year's Day in 1935, trailing only the Rose Bowl which began annual play in 1916. The game has racked up quite a bit of history since its inception, too, having hosted the BCS National Championship game in 2000 and again in 2004.

The 2011 Sugar Bowl featured the Ohio State Buckeyes defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks with a 31-26 final score, but that victory has since been vacated by Ohio State due to a scandal at the school. Terrelle Pryor also ended up losing his MVP award from that game, keeping him from joining a Sugar Bowl MVP class that has included Tim Tebow, JaMarcus Russell, Jason Campbell and Ken Dorsey in the past.
