Sounds like it, I read it as only 1 died in the intitial crash, then they got hit by a semi which killed a second, if the 3rd dies after getting hit by a car while walking I think this becomes an OK_Cat special.

He may have been thrown from the car or the car was in the ditch and he was walking back to the highway. I-44 is a horrible road to be on due to the traffic and big rigs. I live on the outskirts of Joplin.
