What hurts the most is that we played our absolute best game...well over our talent level.  rough ridin' slavers.   :curse:

I can't believe I let myself think those 1-17 potlickers could win. Sqwawk fans saying if Gill had any integrity he would resign. If the sqwawks had any, they'd leave the Big 12 and join the A-10.

KU is a perfect fit for the A-10....or for what will be left of the Big East.

After they drop football, can you imagine those Georgetown, Marquette, DePaul, St. John's, Seton Hall, and Notre Dame basketball games?

This seems like a "no brainer."

Still in a tough spot.

TG is probably a couple of decent coordinators aways from at least winning 4 or 5 a year, and really, how can you expect to win a game like the one today when your players hit the field to the sight of thousands upon thousands of empty seats on your side of the stadium?

It is hard to not point out the fact that this year put the old cherry on top on one of the biggest free falls in college football history, and pretty much enshrined ku football 2007 as a centerpiece in the Hall of Flukes.

ku has won 6 conference games in the last 4 seasons, 2 in the last 3 conference seasons.

KU went 8-5 and won the Insight Bowl after the '07 season.  K-State went 4-7 and ran off Old Balls after winning the Big 12 title in '03.  I'd say you guys were the bigger fluke.

KU has seven straight Big 12 titles and over three times as many Big 12 titles as K-State.  On top of that, K-State has the smallest endowment of any Big 12 program and has never won a national title in any sport.  F*ck off.

Statistically, there have been only two teams that have had a season in Big 12 play that qualifies as an "outlier."  Chigon did the math on it, some time ago.

The first was UT's horrible season a decade ago.

The second was KU's Orange bowl year.

That's just math, man.

Statistically, KU has 24 Big 12 titles to K-State's 7.  Statistically, KU has 12 national titles to K-State's 0.  Statistically, KU's endowment is the 3rd highest in the Big 12 at $1.055 billion.  K-State is dead last at $278 million.   Statistically, KU owns the all-time series against K-State in football by almost 30 games.

Please...

A Big 12 title is one of the hardest things to accomplish in college football, especially for a school like K-State. Why didn't KU get one in their best season ever? Will they ever get one?

Blah, blah, blah. Bottom line is you 1-17 chumps let Mizzou waltz away with a win. Unforgivable.

I was just trying to explain to you the very definition of a "fluke" (three standard deviations away from the mean), and how KU's best football season (ever) fits this definition.  :dunno:

It's not that hard, bro.

Also...and I am just guessing here....I think it maybe hurts Beams feelings (and most KU fans) that nothing but football matters during these turbulent times.

To be so, so accomplished at Basketball and to have it mean virtually nothing to the networks and University presidents must be terribly disappointing.

Prayers, beams.

You know what's hard to explain?  Why turner/chuck went away from running the option with #17.  It was incredibly frustrating to watch and I didn't even have my jayhawk sticker on.

You're a f*cking moron.  Football doesn't matter, either.  Realignment is all about adding TV sets.  Why do you think the ACC is adding Syracuse?  Because of their football program?

It's #12 (Christian Matthews).  And yes, it's hard to explain why he wasn't the starting QB for the entire season.  That's why Gill and co. need to go.

I couldn't agree more.  They HAD them, if they had just stayed with the "Jayhawk" formation.

It's like Turner and Chucked just didn't care about the fact that Mizzou was going to have bragging rights for the rest of eternity in the most important sport in all of college athletics (as deemed by networks, university presidents, fan attendance, and athletic department spending).

I'm familiar with statistical significance.  It doesn't change the fact that KU's 12-1 Orange Bowl season tops anything that K-State has accomplished in the history of your football program.
