ESPN: "This is such a great Maui Invitational, with the participants having a total of 20 national championships."

KU - 3
Michigan - 1
Georgetown - 1

Sad, really. KU brainwashes their fanbase to think they have legitimately won 5 titles. ESPN rubbing it in KU's face

I agree with this, though the current BCS system isn't really any better. The whole idea of a football national championship just should be scrapped.

The Helms Titles were in back to back years before my father was even born. They were given 13 years after the fact, which has about as much weight as Shoeless Joe finally making it into Cooperstown. I mean, who gives a eff?

All this bitching about the Helms titles is stupid. People don't know what you're talking about.

KU won 3 titles when only white people were allowed to play. Those should obviously be dismissed as stupid and invalid.

They have also won 2 other titles by hiring the fathers of elite players. 'Grats for that.
