I don't know if everyone is 100% understanding how huge it is to have 2 B12 football championships.  This isn't crops.  This isn't equestrian.  This isn't basketball.  This isn't debate.  This is rough ridin' football.  The ONLY sport that has ever or will ever matter.  To have 2 B12 trophies is rough ridin' amazing.  We are the only remaining "north" team to have even 1...and we will have the 3rd most of any B12 team behind only TX and OU.  This is rough ridin' enormous.

This season and what could be a pretty good team in a down Big12 next year have softened me on this issue.  I mean, if OB delivers just one conference title out of these two years I think I will be able to stomach HCSS for a couple of years.  

What is the worst that can happen?  Sustained mediocrity of 5-7 to 7-5 seasons?  If SS misses bowls for 3 years straight he will get run like any other coach, the attendance drop off will be impossible to ignore.  This is one of the silver linings of having a cheap ass fan base.
