we aren't going to get an at-large BCS berth, no matter how much we wish for it.  Just the truth.  So the only chance that we'll make it to a BCS game is for OSU to beat a highly ranked OU team, and then they "might" jump back into the 2 spot.  Then we'd get the confy BCS berth.  If ISU were to upset OU, then OSU wouldn't get a high enough OU bump, probably.

if it comes down to us or michigan, do you think we'd get it?  sometimes you have to be realistic and remember that, right or wrong, we are kstate and they are michigan.

We are. It's not likely, but we will be a top ten conference champion. I'm more worried that if OU loses to OSU, they might take the Cotton Bowl and we might end up in the Alamo with no championship to show for it.

We don't need a three way tie to be co-champs. There is no two way tiebreaker, either.

So go Cyclones this week. Go Sooners next week. And then....we get our Big 12 Championship (sharing it with a team we went toe to toe against on their field) and get a BCS bowl game. Sounds great to me!!!! Go Cycoonercats!

Right, but if Michigan loses to Ohio State, they won't be in the BCS, and that opens up a spot for the Big 12. If Oregon loses to Oregon State, that opens up a spot for the big 12. If Houston loses to Tulsa and Southern Miss, that opens up a spot for the Big 12. None of these are likely, but after this past weekend, who knows? Three of those games will be played this coming weekend, so we should know with near certainty this coming weekend whether KSU is going to the Sugar Bowl (OU loses to OSU) or the Cotton Bowl and co-Big 12 Champs (OU beats OSU). That's a damned fine dilemma to have.
