I was watching the game with a fellow K-Stater, and whenever the Texas fans booed, we would moo.  What was it with the TV announcer going on and on about that "out-of-bounds" catch?  JFC, just let it go.  I'm sure Horn fans are talking about how they got ripped off just because that ignorant announcer kept talking about the calls K-State got.

Texas really wanted that one bad.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Did Mack bring up the BCS and $ to explain the poor calls in his presser?

Yes. Was very intimidated by how they maintained all that booing.

I wonder how their fans feel about Dodds after playing K-state? I bet he goes back to his office sometimes, closes the door, first pumps, and lols.

I had a terrible time during the game, some d bag fans in there.  The booing for sure got a little old, let it go. But afterwards down on 6th street they were all pretty cool about it.

I wish that some day, the OOD would unite and be able to boo that effectively against an incoming team.  I mean, I understand that their fans were booing them as often as us or the refs, but just to be able to do it that well would be fantastic.

We did once back in 2008 against Texas in the OOD.  Our fans booed the entire game almost because of poor officiating.  I don't think the announcers could be heard on that Big Monday game because the booing was so loud.

Definitely best I've encountered for any team. Granted most of them don't give two fucks about the Horns because they are too busy thinking about dodging hobos on their way home. In any case, the tucks around me were so embarrassed by all the booing. I was all like   when the students were all  :shakesfist: :curse:

Very angry of them, well done. Their booing was far louder than any noise they were trying to make while we were on offense, however.

At the game I did not get the impression that many of their fans really gave a crap.  Maybe just frustration with being a mediocre big XII team instead of a national contender, but they seemed very meh.  Stadium was shockingly quiet for 100,705 people.  Granted this game wasn't the most exciting, highlight-filled game for either side, but I would have expected a loud crowd while we were on offense at least.  Think it was Zimmerman that tweeted after the game about BSFS being louder.  The fans I talked to were very cordial, and seemed reasonably knowledgeable, but definitely were not angered up enough.

if we could clone our fans and build a space time continuum that would allow us to add 50,000 seats to BSFS for a game it would be really loud and cool. go cats.

Booing that's impressive takes years of practice. Mack brown can take credit for it.

That's where the Mormons come in.  Unless we get the welfare clientele that can have as many kids as they want at little or no cost. (Not  :opcat:, lots of these in rural counties).

It scared me more when Texas's offense and defense would move around a lot pre-snap.  How is that even legal.

The difference is a shift compared to motion. As long as the QB hasn't started the snap count, as long as the players are in a legal formation to start (7 men on the LOS) and are set for a count, and as long as after the players move they reset for a count you can shift all 11 players if you want to. Then you can start your snap count and send a man in motion, which UT often did.

Granted, UT's offense (particularly QB) struggled a lot, but their switching of formations, shifting, and motions put a ton of pressure on a defense. Its really an amazing switch from their previous OC who really didn't do any of that with their scheme.

They also disguised a lot on defense and took advantage of our check with me stuff.
