QB Collin Klein played but Snyder afterward revealed that Klein hasn't practiced in two weeks.

The way Snyder was protecting CK by having him throw so much leads me believe he's in poorer condition than we know. Poor kid.

It might be crazy to think about, and it really gets some people upset, but wouldn't it be a good idea for the K-State staff to go out, and you know, recruit some more offensive weapons?

What does it tell you about the overall level of recruiting when a significant amount of offensive explosiveness is lost when ONE true freshman gets hurt.   All there is now pretty much is Harper.

Again, I know it will be difficult for some folks to handle, but how do you have 3 recruiting classes, and the extent of the offensive firepower consists of:  Klein, 2 transfers (one of whom isn't around) a true freshman, and John Hubert?

Hubert is pretty beat up as well.

Sort of an issue on who on the team isn't beat up.  With so little depth the games are taking their toll.

Reminds me of the end of the '98 year.  That year it was the D that was totally worn down physically, especially the DL.

They must get a bigger back that can play. I was hoping it would be Pease, but he's battled various injuries as well.

Yea, I'm done with Hubert. He's a nice little change of pace back, not a full time starter.  Unfortunately, Pease isn't either healthy enough or good enough to get on the field more in Snyder's eyes.  Demarcus Robinson is a 4 star bust it appears.  Hope they bring in a kid next year that might be able to start, cause it will be tough to stomach another full season of Hubert as a starter.

They should start Logan Dold!

Okay, that was just a joke.

Hubert's extra effort on the third-down to somehow get a first and 10 was the play of the game IMO.
But yeah, nice if Bryce was back their and as committed as his brother.

If only there was an elite back at our fingertips. Maybe one with a brother on the team. Ah, well.

I'm not the one embarrassing myself with these dumbass talking points.  Go back to phog whit this kind of crap.

Love the effort from this team.  I have a serious man crush on Harper and would probably go gay for him.  That his how much I'm enjoying this season.

I'll say it, blaming Snyder for Bryce may be the dumbest talking point of the season.

I'm not saying that. But having Bryce around would be really nice. You know that.

100% agreement.

We're probably 10-1 with even 80% bought in Bryce.

Bryce was going to be Lane Kiffen's Reggie Bush at Tennessee.  He was given every opportunity to be that sort of featured star.  They ran plays specifically to get him the ball.  Even so, he was a very meh player.  He'd be about as valuable as Pease, IMO.

But I don't understand why I should have a problem with telling Klein to suck it up and get his ass back out there.

Hubert is a bum.  He couldn't start for any other Big 12 team.  Bryce would be on the Heisman ballot if not for Old Ballz running him off.  Old Ballz not wanting to share the spotlight so runs off our best player.  It's why he doesn't try to get 5 star recruits...teams only big enough for one supersized ego.

I think Hubert is a pretty meh player. Even if he is only as good as Hubert, we're quite a bit better at RB than we are now.

Well, the usual suspects are all mad per usual.

I am perfectly happy with this season, I just don't like to see a kid get murdered because this staff either can't (or won't because of you know who) go out and land more weapons on the recruiting trail.

One of those pieces, Lockett, is injured. Another, B. Smith, has a football-related eye hernia. And a third, Bryce Brown, turned out to be a TC, FP, ETC. And a fourth, Sams, is being groomed as a future starting QB.
