For as good of a basketball announcer as Gus is, he should never, EVER announce football. He (and his partner) was bad all around.
he leans toward whichever team is down imo.

I did enjoy the part when Gus said something to the effect of "You're crazy, that was a catch!" when they were reviewing a K-State catch in the first half.

That was the most bias he showed all night.

That was the most bias he showed all night.Wasn't really what he was saying, just how he was calling the game and his excitement whenever Texas did anything remotely positive. I agree that it may have just been Gus doing his underdog thing, while the rest of the crew and their true bias made it seem like he was part of it.
KSU didn't do anything remotely positive after it was 17-3. Texas did. Bfd
i hate all of the hype he gets. it's way too much. further, i think it's stupid in general to have feelings/reactions about a broadcaster. who cares, really? that said, i think gus is great. and he's great at football.

they mostly just gushed about snyder and kstate's toughness. i'm getting the feeling that this is good old kstate butthurt over an announcer calling a play by an opposing team in an excited manner.
