we were picked to finish 8th, so yeah i'd celebrate the eff out of it.  sure we didn't beat ou or osu, but we also didn't lose to tech, baylor or iowa state.  anyone who would be ashamed of this big xii shared title is a bookcat

Oh no I would definitely celebrate the crap out of it, I would just wish in the back of my mind that we had gone 12-0 instead.   :frown:  Would still blast all over I-70, though.

Cotton Bowl: $3.625 million
BCS Bowl: $17 million

Any scenario that gets us in a BCS bowl is the right one. Hardware is nice, but an extra $14 million would be nicer.

Actually no. Remember beams arguing the Orange Bowl topped our 2003 conference championship. We lined up to inform him just how much a loser mentality that revealed.

Seems like backwards logic to me.  We want more money so we can ultimately win more championships.  Take the trophy any way you can get it.

Rooting for whichever scenario gives K-State (yet another) conference champy and a BCS game.  If at all possible.  So I guess that means I'm rooting hard for ISU to beat OU?

That money gets split between all of the teams in the Big 12, any way. We will net the same payout, regardless.
