Saw the dude's talk on ESPN.  Sure as hell looked like they were a couple of liars.  Repeating questions, looking up before answering, etc.  All types of things that the dudes on First 48 say are indications of lying.

Davis said he met Fine as a fifth-grader, selling candy bars at Fine’s house. He said Fine then made him a ball boy, introduced him to players, got him good seats for games and took him on trips with the team. Eventually, Davis alleged, Fine became sexual with him. Davis alleges that Fine’s abuse happened at the Syracuse basketball facility, at the coach’s home and on Orange road trips.

While much of the story parallels the allegations against Sandusky – a child wooed with favors and gifts – Davis alleges that Fine’s sexual abuse of him continued until he was 27 years old.

Yes, weird.  At 27, isn't that just "dating?"  Between that and them continually referring to him as a ball boy, I had a hard time following the chronology of the story.  Also reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer becomes a U.S. Open ball boy.

Boeheim calling those dudes out is bat crap crazy.  Boeheim has no idea how that man spends his time when he is away from campus.  If it so happens that the accusations are even the slightest bit true he may have cost himself his job and a certain lawsuit because of that quote.  He should have kept his mouth shut considering the assistant got suspended anyway, really dumb gamble by Boeheim.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I still haven't read an article dumbed down enough to tell me when the kid made the transition from ballboy to Fine Family sex toy, but the age of consent in NY is 17.  Depending on when things went down, starting to sound more like an open marriage gone freaky wrong than a crime.  Would still be pretty bad for an assistant coach to be grooming swing partners through the hoops program.

Can you imagine what frank would do to anyone caught molesting kids in his program? Feels good to know he would take them out back.

Two accusers claim the molestations started at 13, another said it started at 11.  Either way it isn't going to be criminal the New York statute of limitations expired long ago.  I'm not sure how the statute of limitations come into play if it was discovered that the Syracuse PD covered up the crimes years ago.  I'm not sure what it means but the Secret Service has joined the investigation.

Fine started molesting the kid when he was 11...and while that's plenty old enough to eff in states like Arkansas and Missouri, it's looked down upon and considered a felony in New York.  The kid banged Mrs Fine when he was 18 and obviously totally mumped in his melon (have you seen her?)...kid's gotta have serious issues.  Here's hoping Mr and Mrs Fine kill themselves.

Statue of limitations is up with the two brothers but the third kid is still within the window.

I think there are usually state law SOL exceptions for when a crime is undiscoverable, but that's different from being discovered or discoverable and simply not acted on.

I gathered this morning that Feds are involved because the 3rd dude (who has charges pending against himself for kid sex) claimed to have been taken across states or communicated with across states, making it potentially a Fed crime that fits in the much-longer Fed SOL, 10 years.
