Did overtime end perfectly for you?
« on: November 12, 2011, 06:57:20 PM »
I kind of wanted it to end on that 4th and goal, and it would have been fun it thompson had caught that TD (b4 the penalty)

but the way it ended was great. It was like aTm knew their death was coming.

better this way, because it was their coach's lack of boldness that cost them victory.  not something that occurred on the field.  that makes it sweeter.

Glad we sent A&M out with a loss, it felt like I was about to have a heart attack a few times there in the OT. What a way to play the 1st OT game in BSFS.

Better duck next Saturday. Good things don't follow on the heels of wins in multiple OT for fans of the KSUCats.

It's CTR week. Doubt anyone will even remember this game by noon Sunday.

Can you imagine if Klein's 25 yd run on the first play had been in the 4OT instead of the 3rd? BSFS would have literally exploded.

Are you looking to stream or are you referring to on cable? I was hoping since it was ABC it'd should up on ESPN3 and it does not even show up. Desperate to re-watch this with audio. I was the only person in a Los Angeles-area bar going nuts and was chastised repeatedly for demanding the sound.

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

It's listed on ESPN3 now....but when I try watch, it says it's blacked out.

It should be good to go sometime tonight, tomorrow at the latest.  They blackout the ESPN3 broadcast for a few hours in areas where it was on TV.  Same thing happened to me when I went to watch some replays after I got home from the Baylor game, but it was un-blacked out pretty soon.

I have it now. Was just refreshing the window but decided to close it and re-search ESPN3. When I did, it had a popup saying 'Same great content, new location'. Plus my ISP (Comcast Denver) is out of area, so no blackout.

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

Great thread, fff...

I am with you, the way it ended was perfect because they knew it was coming and they couldn't stop it.  I mean, I was typing "we win" in chat and we hadn't even completed the final play....that's big.

Also an excellent point.  Their leadership has less confidence in their team than we had in ours.  They are weak, and they know it.  No rematch.

We won, so it was great. Letting the defense win it on the 4th and goal would've been better, but I'll take it.

Why the hell were people leaving after the second OT? Overheard someone say "We'll I stayed for the first two, I'm not staying for another."

Seriously?

Reminds me of when me and Mrs. CF3 were at a friend's house for the Xavier game, when it went to the 2nd OT my buddy's wife said "I'm tired and want this game to be over".  She's lucky I didn't murder her.

And the perfect ending would've been Thompson catching the pass that they called the penalty on, but we won and it was amazing and I loved it so who cares.
