Is nobody discussing this gem of a plan that Schulz is rolling out? That's only 15 years to get into the top 50. If he can make things happen that fast, he will be a genius, right?
So, Schulz has 15 years to either find a better job, or figure out how to manipulate all those random studies and statistics and sell it to KSU alums that KSU is actually a top 50 public research institution, even though no credible source ranks KSU above 80 or so. Fortunately for him, convincing the bulk of KSU alums that KSU is relevant as an educational institution, without a shred of credible evidence, is pretty easy.
Pretty good strategy for Schulz, imo.
