what to wear for OOD?
« on: November 11, 2011, 01:53:56 PM »
-I think the writing is on the wall that I'm too old to wear a tshirt and jeans to a game.
-If I could pull it off, I'd wear a denim button up with powercat above the breast. Tucked in of course. But I don't make enough money to wear that.
-It's cold outside so usually need a jacket.
-It could be stuffy inside, so you need to disrobe your jacket. But where do you put it? On the ground? Gross. They need more coat racks up top. IMHO
-I usually just wear a light weight v neck sweater. Purple of course.

How do you guys dress? Any tips?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

untucked polo seems like a fantastic idea. But what do you do about your coat?

Just leave it in the car most nights and get cold for a few min.

If v cold out, roll that bitch up and put it under the bench.  Roll it up inside out or use an old one.

The OOD plays host to various wardrobes.  Really, you can't go wrong regardless of age, occupation, or income.

Within newspaper throwing distance, I've got a guy who wears a silver hard hat, another guy who wears a ruby ring on his pinkie, and that incredibly handsome guy who everybody posts picture of on here.

Personally, I haven't worn a t-shirt since the '08 KU game when a fellow 18er literally ripped my sleeve off in excitement.  Since that night, I have moved on to button-downs, untucked.  Or, for colder games, button-downs (tucked) with sweater.  Purple of course.

Jeans are the obvious choice down below.   But, plenty of olds roll out the pleated dockers, turtle-neck combo. risky, i know.

I'm wearing a vintage KSU shirt, jeans, Jamaican flag, and hoodie that can be left on the ground without fear.  And a scarf.

Subtract the scarf and change Jamaican flag to Panamanian for me.

purple oxford with embroidered powercat logo and jeans. yep, you heard me right guys. you can wear jeans to basketball games! the SEC isn't even good at basketball, so we obviously don't need to strive for their level of dress for basketball games.

Never too old for vintagy type t-shirts.  Stay away from the affliction type though too douchified.

I'm thinking about buying some gray 501's as they would be awesome with KSU gear.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

No offense, but wildfratcountry really has to post for it to be believable.

i tend to slum it up for games. mostly because i don't want to make other cat fans feel bad about themselves. would rather match the standard then try to set it.

Don't wear a rough ridin' jean shirt, whatever you do....

Some KSU version of this seems appropriate:

Good God, the one on the left is dressed for a Catbacker event sans the hat.
