You might say "yes."  But then you'd be wrong, dead wrong.

i know you guys bleed purple, but Frank Martin's roster doesn't possess anyone with the combination of elite athleticism/talent of ; Robinson, Taylor or Johnson. i'll be the first to admit that this is Self's thinnest roster to date, but he still has 3 future pros. Martin has no pros, and no Jamar Samuels is not playing in the league as a soft 6-6 forward with very average post skills. every year K-St fans claim that their roster is better than KU's and we all know how that ALWAYS turns out. rock chalk

first of all, i've literally never even heard of taylor or johnson.  and robinson is only known because his mom died of an overdose.

i want stats, or else you're just drinking the blue koolaid.

Taylor would have been Frank'd off the team a long time ago.
Robinson would have started last year and would be in the league this year.
Johnson, i dunno, whotf is that? I googled him, looks like a FP, TC, etc.  :dunno:

Therefore I will have to agree with OK, and no, none of the 3 kumoulder mentioned would start this year.

T-Rob stats: Robinson sat behind 3 post players that were NBA lotto picks, his points/rebounds per minute have been off-the-charts, was also considered a fringe NBA lotto pick last draft (if he had declared), and hasn't even been a starter yet

any NBA/talent scout would tell you Taylor and Johnson are the top 2 or 3 pro-prospect guards in the Big 12.
Taylor/Johnson >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rodriquez/Spradling and its not even remotely close

Taylor has led his team to a 95-14 record as KU's starting point guard - that's decent

Spradling- started shaving last week
Rodriquez- decent freshman

how many points did each of them score against our common opponent, FHSU?

i know you're new here, so I'll fill you in on something.  We look at the cold, hard facts when arguing.  Stats, man, stats.

How many points did those guys score against FHSU?  We both have played them, so it's a good way to start comparing.

Thinking of Taylor as a leader in any way is hilarious.  I bet even he would laugh at that.

JO is a future pro. Anyone who thinks he isn't doesn't know crap about the NBA.

Johnson is garbage

Taylor might be ok at times, but he would have been Frank'd to Directional U long ago.

T-Rob has had maybe 2 great games in his career? And one was the day after his mom died, so he's already used that free pass up.

Did you know that over the past five years, KU is 165-22 (average of 33-4 per season), which is not only the best in the last five years (UNC is 2nd at 150-39)... it's the best ever in a five year period.

i'm not saying that K-St is a horrible bball program by any means, Martin is a really good coach (motivator), who gets the most from his players. That being said, he simply doesn't assemble the same quality of talent that Self does (even in his down years - talent wise), that's all i'm trying to point out

Robinson, Taylor and Johnson have been used more as role players in past years to future pros/upperclassman, but are all capable of having break-out seasons due to their talent-level and new found prominent roles on this year's squad. So their stats from previous years are useless (which you'll know). And the rebuttal from K-St fans will probably be; well why were they role players if they are so good? Well, Self has had stacked rosters for the past several years, causing them to wait their turn. Here's another "stat" for you'll; KU in the past 5 seasons has won more games than anyone in the history of the sport (in a 5-year span), but hey, K-State beat KU twice in that time-span so K-St's got that going for them

at the end of the day, just alittle friendly banter between rival fans (i've notice you guys sometime play coy to entice KU fans to keep posting on topics). i won't post anything vulgar or attack anyone, just having some fun. i have great respect for K-St and their fans (as passionate as fans get) good luck this season

i was looking for stats for "this year" , but apparently to my surprise, i guess these "exhibition" games don't actually count. So i can't use we beat Ft Hays St by 20+ more points than you guys did or that Ft. Hays St played you guys almost even in the 2nd half, i wish i could, but the "stats" dont count

Well, no that is just silly.  I'm not a doctor, but if you or your "friend" is in bleeding fact bleeding purple I would be extremely worried about my red blood cell count, my iron intake and my platlettes.  As for the rest?  Well I :dnr:

that's weird, i found the stats for both games quite easily.

looks like 2 of the guys you said would start for ksu didn't even start OR play for ku in an exhibition.  Either ku is THAT deep, or those guys aren't good at hoops.

looks like i win the internet, chief.
