I think it's pretty much a done deal. With its rich tradition and deep pockets, whomever KU targets, KU gets.

Leach has enough stink surrounding him that he would consider the ku job. I would be majorly upset about it. They would kick the crap out of us on a regular basis and challenge for conference titles. Would be epic disaster for K-State football. We need to stop this at all costs.

First we'd have to hear the righteous indignation from the 'tucks
- "No way he'd be a better coach than Snyder, I'm just happy to have the legend while we do"
- "Who needs 'em. Sean's been Assistant HC for a couple of years now and around the program all of his adult life -- there's no one I'd rather have in charge. Besides, we saw what happened last time we hired someone outside the Snyder family"

Then, the joyous over-exuberance as Leach slowly builds a team
- "See?!? See?!? Not even Leach can win at KU. He's no HOFLHCWTFBS."
- "Yeah he's winning, but he's not doing it the way that 'Bill' would do it."

Then the excuse making phase:
- "It's not LHCBS's fault. It's all Cosh's fault. If only Snyder would replace him............."
- "I just couldn't enjoy that style of offense. Give me power option and ball control offense all day long"
- "Well, it's not like we ever had a shot at getting him as HC anyway"

Then the overjoyed reaction when he abandon's KU:
- "Who wants a coach like that? I want someone who WANTS to be here"
