Mainstream / non-poisoned candy only.

Smarties are universally recognized as the worst, right? I mean, sugar chalk. Blech.

I always liked getting Starburst and the mini-3 musketeers or almond joy type type bars. The mini Hershey bars were kinda "meh."

Snickers, Reese's PB cups and Peanut M&M's were the truly elite items a youngster could ever hope to get. It was fun to go back to those houses an hour later hoping they wouldn't recognize me.

Candy corns of any size serving enraged me as a youngster.

And don't even get me started on that one dipshit that gave out cheap toothbrushes. Thanks bro, my parents already have that taken care of for me.

we're giving out: (fun-size all) skittles (3 flavors), hershey's reg. and c&c, butterfinger, snickers, nestle crunch, twix, starburst, baby ruth AND FRUIT SNACKS (little kids love 'em)

so far we've had 101 t or t'ers and still going strong

We handed out reg/peanut/peanut butter M&Ms plus various kinds of skittles. My research has shown that kids like peanut butter M&Ms the most and peanut the worst. skittles are very hit and miss but overall fell between PB and P M&Ms in the regular M&M range.
