if we don't win all the close games next year and finish with a mediocre record, are the goEMAW pussies vindicated?

Media says we're gonna be preseason conference favorites next year!  :excited:
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Can you imagine how good we will be once Bryce comes back from his fishing trip?

I honestly don't know what my expectations for next year should be.

I don't think we've hit the ceiling under Snyder 2.0 yet, but we are pretty damn close.  We will most likely finish 8-4 or 9-3 this year.

I'm clinging to 9-3 but its pretty hard to see us beating anyone with a defense capable of laying an egg of that size.

I will not be satisfied with 9-3 or 8-4.  I expect KSU to compete for National Championships every year not the godamn cotton/holiday/sun bowl or whatever other toilet bowl we get this year.   If they do not, we need to fire coaches and crap.  If we are going to pay a coach $2M per year, we better be undefeated every year and recruit 4-5 star players and be a hell of a lot better than 9-3 or 8-4.  We are KSTATE goddammit!

Next year we should win at least 8 games. Anything less would be a poor coaching job.

Would take 6 wins and a top 35 recruiting class.

we lose 3 starters from the OL, we lose Lamur and our LB depth is beyond a joke, we lose Garrett, we lose our Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) free saftey and have no legitimate/young backup, our DL is a joke now, and Klein still won't be able to throw.

....schedule is tougher

I would guess 6/7 wins.

I doubt it.  He's pretty small for an NFL linebacker.  I bet he's there next year

I feel like this is our Beasley year, but we're skipping the year between that and going straight to our Elite 8 year.

Might be a lotta of new/not good QBs on that schedule, especially if RG3 and Jones go early  :crossfingers:

what makes this schedule more difficult than this years schedule?

Only six home games as opposed to seven this year.  UCF is a decent team.  They may not be worldbeaters but they're much better than Kent State or Eastern Kentucky.  Miami will show some solid improvement in Golden's second year, but on the other hand they might be crippled by NCAA sanctions before the start of next season.  WVU and OU are tough places to play.  Texas' young inexperienced players they've been playing last year and this year will be seasoned vets.  It's only marginally tougher than this year's schedule, but it is a more difficult schedule.

I can understand buying out games against teams like Oregon and Virginia Tech, but buying out a game at UCF?  God damn it, I hate how Bill is afraid to play any non-1AA or non-Sun Belt team.  Can't wait to see us replace a road game against a middle of the road team with a glorified scrimmage against North Central Who Gives A eff State :jerk:
