All I want

I want people to make a thread in 10 years reminiscing about the 2011 OU game.  I want people to point to something that happens Saturday and say "That was the loudest the stadium ever was."  I want the okie fans who come to Manhattan to leave wondering how a little ole' 50,000 seat stadium gets so damn loud.  I want to tell my son stories about the miracle of 2011 like my Dad does about the 6th game of the 1985 World Series. 

I want us to win.  I've bought in damn it.  I want to win. 

I want it all.  And I want it now.

Well from what Trim has to say, I've been tucked since birth so I don't care, 12-0 baby! And mods please change Cartierfor3 "Bryce pick" to "Arthurs pick" cause I don't use the B word no more!  :excited:

I'm totally  :ksu: but am not going to be all  :shakesfist: :runaway:  :bang: if something goes wrong this season, or we  :surprised: lose a game. I'm pretty much  :popcorn:. Something about '98 and and the '03 Fiesta Bowl stole something from me and us not having high expectations this year has kept me from tying too many emotions to the season. Unlike basketball where I'm totally  :excited: :excited: :excited:. Color me  :combofan: but more  :bball: than  :lynchmob: with my extremism.

I don't think many of us were that hyped for this season.  It has been a very enjoyable and surprising season, but not to the point of extreme excitement.  Hope we go to a nice bowl and I don't mean ICE BOWL.  :excited:

I was on the sideline for the A&M game, and the Alamo Bowl in 98. After that, even while living in Saint Louis, I got a sick feeling every time I went near that damned dome downtown. That said, this team isn't on that level. I'm just enjoying the ride. I'll get over a loss this year unless we win all four of these biggies, then lose to Iowa State. That my friends, would put me on par with 98.

I never compared this team to 98, 03, 00, or any other.  I just said I want it all.  And I want it now.

This game is the game I want our 'Cats to win more than anything right now. With all the doubters, all the wins we're getting has just made this season so much fun to watch and be a part of, I just don't want the winning to end. Saturday has just got me all  :ohno: and  :ksu: all at the same time. It's driving me crazy! Saturday 2:30p.m. please hurry up and get here......Please.  :shy:

I'm with ya CartierFor3! There has never been a better 7-0 feeling than this one. Seasons when we were 7-0 we had expectations, not this one! What a season, and OH MY GOD HAIL OBBS!  :ksu:  :drool:

I wouldnt be as upset if this was a flashy team that had been winning easily. something about winning these hard fought games with such a tough group of guys, has made me believe.

I want to win this week pretty bad.  The stress/buildup for Okie Light would be pretty awesome most likely resulting in our KITN there.  I think if it's gonna happen though there's so shame in losing to the what #3/4? team down in Stillwater  :dunno:
