The best part of this is USC is 6-1 also, with a thumping from Arizona State. They barely beat Arizona, and escaped embarrassment from Minnesota w/ 19-17 win to open the season. They are prohibited from the post-season and votes in any poll, but are going to be featured for 3 hours on ESPN.

While two top 11(or so) teams meet w/ the storyline of the greatest turnaround in college football looming in the background. The underdog who has once again risen from the ashes this time from the embarrassment of HC Ron Prince(who an ESPN darling while here).

I say eff cheeseburger and his love for the "glamorous matchup." That guy was a turd Nov. 11, 2006 and always will be. This quite simply is the matchup w/ the most passion and implications, it is stupid that we are constantly overlooked just because of geographics. This whole conference minus OU and UT are constantly pushed down to a lower level by fuktards on the coasts.

If you still want College Gameday in Manhattan, it's time to root against Oregon and Stanford. Our ESPN corporate contact in Bristol told me this morning they only have two sites possible for November 12.

AtM at KSU or Oregon at Stanford. Seems like a bit of a longshot but if those other teams lose...

Kind of indifferent about it now. I find myself more crawling in the boat of "eff off ESPN, we're just gonna win out so you have to talk about us for a whole month before the natty"

Yes, I don't get it. 2 top 10's going at it or a non-eligible bowl team vs a non-traditional football team. I think it was just an excuse to get the crew to SoCal for a week after freezing in that East Lansing hell hole.
