Decide what you want your twitter to be. Don't clog it up with a bunch of bullshit until you do decide. It's a pain in the ass to weed out again.

If you want strictly sports, start with the writers and see who they follow. Should be able to start a dece list from that. Then search for fanboards for whatevs teams you like. Fanboard twitter'ers are usually pretty good too.

Again, it all depends what you want your twitter to be.

You create your list from your followers. Can organize any list you want however you want.
