I'm sure it's only a matter of time that the rest of the world recognizes that handwritten letters are more important than the game results, and then we'll the best in the world college football team by miles.  KSU playing the long game.

As laughably horrible at PR as Schulz and Currie are, Snyder is that good.  Probably comes with goodwill and age, but Snyder's image is a complete 180 of what it was during the heart of the DOD.

I kinda feel like Coach both literally and figuratively mailed this one in.  I mean, the kid made a 37 yard field goal with 32 seconds left.  It's not that remarkable.

I'd still send him a handwritten note telling him to go eff himself anyway.

This.  Basically just tweeted a congrats to him and the guy RT'd.  But in today's world that isn't newsworthy.  Snyder knows how to charm and quietly stand out in a crowd.

Has this been discussed?

I've noticed them doing that this year with Heath and the other guys who were different jerseys on special teams.

Is there some sort of strategy behind this? Why don't they make the special teams scrub wear a different number?

Its not a scrub, the other #4 is starting safety Kaleb Prewett. He and Heath both are on punt return, so someone has to wear a different number. I don't think when guys choose their numbers they think about if they'll ever be on a special teams with another guy with the same number, so we just deal with it this way. In year's past they had regular jerseys with no name that are tougher to put on and off, its nice to have these tear off jerseys with the player's name on them this year.

He should wear a #16 and scare the crap out of the punter.

Would make more sense for Prewett to wear a different number right?  Offense takes the field next and needs the quicker pit crew change of jerseys.  Prewett would have at least a play (hopefully at least 3) before needing to go back on the field.

He currently on the field before the punt tho. Thing probably comes off easier than it is put on.

He's an embarrassment. Gottlieb's tweet that dumbass Jay responded to was also stupid.
