Honest basketball question...NOT SEXIST!
« on: February 28, 2010, 10:37:58 PM »
Who would win between the Kansas state MBB highschool basketball champion and the NCAA D1 Women's basketball champion?

Maybe Kellis Robinett could chime in on this since he tried to get the high school beat at the Eagle and was denied the job (TRUE STORY).

What if Bishop Miege was playing the UCONN women's team...who would win?

some friends and i wrote a letter to playboy advisor around fifteen years ago asking the very same question. they promise to answer all questions, but wrote back a response saying that ours would require speculation and that it couldn't be answered.

I always figured that you could find five guys at the rec that could beat KSU women's hoops no prob.

also always figured that the 3A Kansas  boys state champ would wax the national champ girls team.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Important question:  What size ball do they use?

The HS boys dismantle them 105-22 regardless.

Something's been in the works.  Or not.  Maybe we just needed this post so we could steal the idea.

I once watched one of the WBB team practices (before a football game I think) when they played against a group of guys.  The guys lost but it was close.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Once in college me and 4 friends played Kendra Wecker, Nicole Oldhe (sp?), Megan Mahoney, Laurie Koehn or whatever her name was, and some big tall freshman girl and beat them 3 games straight.  I think the most they scored was 4 and that's what Kendra punched me in the balls.  True Story.

Best part:  One of Megan Mahoney's friends came over to tell me that she thought I was cute and that I should ask her out.

Need more info on the ball punching.  Did she do it while trying to box you out or steal your cross over, or did she just walk up to you and sucker punch your bag?

I think this is hilarious.

Played a pickup game at the rec against Oldie, Wrecker and Cane once, I had to guard Oldie since I'm about the same height as her.  I scored 11 baskets on her, she scored one on me (lucky shot).  I found out that it was very uncomfortable guarding a manwoman that is trying to back it down on you.  Like I felt bad that I was embarassing her, because she is still kind of a girl and all, you know.

girls would win.  Uconn's chicks are bigger faster and stronger than the 6a champs will be.

Agreed, "girls" play a lot more physically than you think, and it does make it difficult/awkward to guard.  I've been there.

She was posting me up (we were basically the same size, I may have had an inch or two on her).  I had my left leg out holding my position and she's all like backing up into my biziness, she swings her right arm around and hits me right in the boyzz.  Not cool Kendra, not cool.  I may or may not have swiped at the ball after this and accidently got some boob.  That may have happened.

Uh, yeah, don't you remember this happening?  Also remember the time Jayhox totally schooled you at that rec center in Bonner Springs wearing a Raef LaFrentz jersey.
Where did you get that overnight bag?
